I'm here, but making up time from this morning when I visited the doctor. Just a routine thing.

So far, my cross country trip in the '66 will still happen. Looks like I might be able to cruise on some of the historic Rt 66 in a few states. I'm such a Rt 66 buff!

Heard tonight our favorite 5 And Diner is closing July 5th. Not cool. New owners will reopen it as something else. Guess I will go to the breakfast cruise on Saturday.

So far the Budget isn't liking anything I can find in your area :( They sock it to the winter renters :(

Good morning crew. Skip you should just move. I don't know how you take it up there.

It will be a very slow day at work today. Hopefully I can get Ruby scheduled for her radiator flush & check-up. Looking like Saturday car activities will be a wash out but I'm still ready for some weekend. Happy Friday all.

I agree with Janice you should just move Skip. I can tell you that will be the first thing I do when I retire. I refuse to spend my golden years dealing with crappy winter weather. Its going to be a rainy weekend here as well. Temps only in the 60s and we are going to an outdoor concert on Sunday but I am pretty sure our seats are covered. Took a dsy off on Mondsy so only a 3 day work week next week. After working 50 hour weeks for the last 2 months it will seem weird to have a short week. I will still be on call howevef for at least another month though.

We're glad we made the move. Our next "move" will be out of this big house and hopefully have 2 small places, one here in the valley and one up north near Flag during the summer.

Good morning crew. All the rain managed to make it through here during the night and all the dangerous stuff missed us. We must have gotten a pretty good wind gust early yesterday morning because out new umbrella was in the driveway broken. Mike thinks he can fix it. No other damage. Temps will be milder for a few days not too which is nice. We really needed the good rain we got. Everything is still really wet so not a good day to paint the deck like we wanted & roads are still pretty wet too so not wanting to get the Camaros out. Soooooo, I guess we will go do a little shopping that we have been needing to do.

A million years ago hubby was stationed in New Mexico and he rode his motorcycle everywhere. Said the scenery was gorgeous riding thru Arizona and up along the Rockies into Colorado. Said it was like being in an old western movie. Everything was like time had stopped.

Good Sunday morning. It is going to be a really nice day here today so, we need to get some work done. The deck badly needs to be stained. I sort of dread it but at least it will be pleasant & not sweltering hot. HAGD crew.

Had a great 3 days at the Camaro Nationals in Maryland. After all the down pours of rain. Was in a mild modify class. It was a 200 point judging class took 3rd place not bad.

Congrats! Glad you managed to have a good time in spite of the rain.

The deck project is not going as planned. The power washer turned out to be broken. Probably had a little water left in it & this hard winter got it. So we cleaned the deck the best we could with the jet setting on the hose & a brush. Not as good & more labor intensive. Now Mike is mowing while we wait for it to dry. It is somewhat hotter than we expected to. We will definitely be ready for some grilled steaks this evening.
