There is a limit as to how much farther I am willing to go in my diet restrictions. I am very tired of having nothing that fits on my fat azz. Can I say FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

Hi Andy. Haven't seen you around here much lately. Have fun on the HRPT. I want to do that one of these years. HAGD all.

I never heard the term "blackberry winter". What/how/where? I like learning where sayings come from!

Lipo is big business, tens of thousands get it every year. The few people whom I know that got it, well they never changed their eating habits. So the liposuction worked great, but once those fat cells where permanently removed and they were still eating too much fat, the Fat got stored in New Places. Several years later you can see bulges of back fat/thigh fat etc.

If you can find a good doc you'll most likely be very pleased with the results! If only our hormone levels stayed at 20 something, back in the days where you could eat anything and everything without gaining a pound.....ahh the good old days!

I like medical shows, Botched on E has two docs that fix mistakes made by previous surgeries, and wow are those two talented. Also love Dr Oz's other show "Surgeon Oz" where it shows him doing heart surgery. And of course ER Shows, the real ones/not actors. New one starts next wk, NY ER.

Hey, losing a bit of weight (if its just a little) I think is an easier thing to do that regaining lost weight. After my first nasty surgery I lost almost 60lbs that took me nearly 4 years to regain, just in time for my accident, and of course, lost 40lbs all over again..sigh. I used to have some good heft to me...but slowly Im gaining my appetite and pushing myself to eat. Might be a guy thing too lol...Gotta be big along with being tall, right?

In Tennessee the saying is "If you don't like the weather, stick around. It'll change". We tend to have swings back & forth from warmer/hotter to cooler/cold snaps & these out of character cold snaps have developed a series of nick names based upon what is going on in the plant world; like "Dogwood winter" for a cold snap when the dogwoods are in bloom and "Blackberry winter" for when, you guessed it, wild blackberries are in bloom. There are a number of other ones too.

Sounds like the Oklahoma saying "if you dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes" There I think it was a bit more extreme, from sunny and clear to F5 tornado in 5 minutes, then clear again...been through a couple of those and Im glad Im in the northeast now....Rust may be an issue, but you can fix that a whole lot easier than a car that was lifted up to 1000ft then dropped on its roof....15 times! (I saw this as the GM plant in Del City..is it Del City? Either way, right outside Tinker AFB)

Pretty.

Every single client today either canceled or did not show. Sooooooooooooo, I left early & did a little retail therapy. I had a Gift card I had been trying to use since Christmas but could not find anything I wanted. Today I got me some stretch skinny jeans, A pair of comfortable thin exercise pants & an exercise skirt/shorts. Turning in early again tonight. Still worn out from yesterday's exercise class.

That is the saying in Oklahoma. That's where I'm from originally, and yes we do have tornados.....and yes the GM plant was near Del City/Midwest City

Keep up the classes Jan. Exercise will make you feel better in the long run. You may not believe me, but I really do feel better being 68 lbs lighter. Only 12 more to go.

This has been a LONG work week, but I am FINALLY caught up. But now two others are on vacation tomorrow and next week, so we'll all have to pitch in and, become backlogged again. Never ends.

Some funny pool news to report; some of you may remember all the BS I endured between April and August of last year during my pool build, and the subsequent two month quest to restore my yard. Seems the local news "consumer investigation" team interviewed three families enduring the same crap we did last year. And since the investigation started, the company seems to be unraveling, with today's announcement the spa business has filed for bankruptcy. Here is the piece that started it all;

I feel for these folks. Hope it works out for them.

Good morning crew. Another cold morning....43 degrees! But it is suppose to get up to 72 by the time I get home which is good since I need to wash the car for the Camaro Homecoming tomorrow. It is always a fun event. Have a good Friday & if you are driving this holiday weekend, be safe & have fun.

Yes, everyone have a great holiday weekend. I'm going to the F-body Gathering here in Atlanta. Scott Settlemire and others from GM will be there. They've added other GM muscle cars to the show this year. Sunday going to Dollywood with family and friends.

Im crying...Im not ashamed one bit of me being poor lol (I will be moving up quick once I get my PhD, and in math, not basket weaving, and not because I just wanted a "better" job, I actually have a good thesis!) But for now, Im just a fairly enterprising grad student, with 5 cars. You gotta be good with money and making some on the side to do that, and keep classics stock with original parts right?

Buuuuut..the 2SS 1LE may be just that tiny fraction too much...The 1SS may be just right, but no integrated nav, and no HUD. I couldnt care less about back up cam. I got a rental now with it, and I just dont trust it enough to use it. Same with leather, dont care...but that HUD....so Im crunching numbers over the long weekend.

Hope everyone has fun though! Stay safe for the official beginning of summer!

I came home a little early & washed the autocross course off of Ruby. I tell you what, that paint sealant makes a world of difference. Nothing sticks to the paint. It is so much easier to wash. Ready for tomorrow. I will try my best to relax & enjoy the day........................................I will TRY.

Since this is a holiday weekend, I guess we'll go shopping for a new mattress, and an elliptical since my 10+ year old machine has an issue, again. the hotel mattresses I had slept on when staying in Maryland did not leave me aching in the morning like our mattress does. As far as my present elliptical, can't remember how long we've owned it, but electronic parts I replaced years ago are on the fritz again.

Rick --- great shot of the cactus. So different from Illinois. What mattress have you decided upon ?? I know we had a discussion about them before. We still need to get a new mattress too. With the prices what they are, I sure do not want to get the wrong one. Let me know what you decided.

Hope everyone has a great safe weekend. Thanks to any old farts here that served our great country!!!!

John
