Be safe out there all. It's still brutally cold here it never got above 0 yesterday and it was -13 on my way in this morning. It's 3 now it's so cold here Niagara Falls has frozen over. That is a rare event here. I think we may have a shot at our snowfall record here which was 199" in 1977 we have over 150" so far with no end in sight.

At the cottage this wknd it was - 32 F, I waited till today to take tractor out and clean up snow . we only got a foot since Friday. my diesel tractor is plugged in to aid starting in this Cold temperatures . If I was closer I would come and help you guys and gals

Our office just texted to say they will be closed tomorrow so I won't have to get up early. NO Nashville tomorrow. I have no clients scheduled for Wednesday as I planned to spend that day with my daughter. So maybe just working Thursday & Friday.

Pretty sure we will go over the 100 INCH MARK. CRAZY. This is definitely the worst winter in my lifetime. I think the average snow total is something like 45 inches. Most winters are a piece of cake, a few inches come down here and there, but this is CRAZY every weekend a Blizzard with a foot or more of snow. And Record Cold Temps to boot.

It is really odd, but there is almost no visible accumulation in the grass, but there is an inch or so of ice/sleet on the roads. Normally, we see the reverse as roadways are normally a bit warmer.

Right now it is still sleeting fairly steadily. South of Murfreesboro a 12 car accident has closed a section of I-24 and a jackknifed tractor trailer has closed a section of I-40 east of Nashville. Luckily I have nowhere I need to be, filled the gas tank, and am prepped in case we lose power (strong possibility).

Wow, it's just global warming I guess

Truly I know this is challenging for y'all! Lots of precipitation here, but no ice where I am. I'm sure it will be icy in the morning!

We went out to dinner this evening for my birthday. Still on a diet, so no cake. But I did have some whipped cream.

Hey, Happy Birthday! Mine is today! More snow today so not sure if we'll go out tonite or wait till the weekend. Luckily the snow totals have dropped to only around three inches today! Yahoooooo!

Hubby left his truck door ajar so with the -5 degree temps over nite, it drained the battery. He put it in the Bat Tender Jr., started right up, so back in business!

It is even more bitter cold here. Roads are worse today than yesterday. Several interstates are completely shut down, tons of wrecks, power outages, & most everything is shut down. The sun has come out so it is really beautiful. Looks like glitter everywhere, but with the temps around 15 nothing is melting at all. Glad our office had the good sense to close which is actually surprising. More snow expected tonight, only about an inch but with temps on the negative degrees and the stuff we already have not melting that is all it will take to keep things shut down tomorrow too. Can I say CABIN FEVER????? We are okay though. We have not lost power & are well supplied. HAGD everyone.

Happy Birthday Rick and Normagene looks like we have a few February birthdays in here. Mine is Saturday. My wife and I may go out for dinner then as the temps may get near 30 then back into the freezer Sunday.

Here is how I spent part of my second snow day. We watched a movie & just chilled the rest of the day. Looks like another lazy day today. More snow tonight & I have no clients scheduled so why bother myself out in this mess?
