Woke up to find another Two inches of snow. No biggie, but Monday could be a Bad Storm, possibly another Foot of Snow. Weather folks aren't sure if it will hit us or miss us, probably just clip us.
Hopefully tomorrow they'll have its track more dialed in. Big Game tomorrow which means Perfect time to hit all the stores since they'll be empty! |

True about the stores Normagene. I found myself in need to shopping during the game one year & It was nice to have the stores to myself.
We need to do a bit of shopping today but staying in tomorrow probably. Happy Saturday everyone.

No need to watch the game. The Patriots have every angle covered. A couple Refs in their pocket, plenty of paid informants sending them plays/heads up from the other side. How can they lose? |

But seriously, I'll put it on my list.
My 28 yr old daughter FINALLY watched "The Jerk". Now she understands her fathers humor much better

![]() No cruise today. I stayed home and worked around the house. I replaced the rear seat upholstery in the Chevelle, cleaned the interior of the Chevelle and wifie's car, fixed a headlight on my Dakota, then cleaned up my work area where I did the upholstery work. And the rain finally stopped!

My day has been spent adding the final touches to my ADM SC install Z/LE conversion. As I get older, it takes A LOT longer to recover ;o)...
Been raining here in DFW -- not much to do when it rains, but we needed it... Ready to see if the Pat's have it or not in the Super Bowl... -Don |

We had a small medical scare with my wife over the weekend. She developed some hives on Friday at work. They gave her a shot of benedryl which made her drowsy and she went home early. She woke me up about 2:30 am as the hives were worse and her lips had swollen and she was afraid the tongue and airway were next.
She called her Dr who told her she thought it was a reaction to the Lisinopryl she takes for her BP. She found this odd as she has been on this medication for many years with no effects. The Dr said this happens in a small amount of people and suggested we go to the ER just to be on the safe side. The ER doctor concurred and gave her some steroids and some more benedryl and after about 3 hours of observation sent us home. Needless to say we were both tired yesterday but I am happy she is ok. She will see her regular doctor soon to get on a new BP med. We are supposed to get a storm tonight through tomorrow afternoon with 10-14 inches of snow expected. I will be in an off site training class all next week but it is online so if it's too bad out I could just do tomorrows session from home if I have to. Today we will go grocery shopping early and then just stay home and watch the game. I dislike both teams and wish there was a way they could both lose. Since that is not possible I will just root for my numbers in the superbowl pool I am in. If I could win that I will be pretty happy as I could use some of my winnings to purchase a few more mods for the Camaro. I did buy an Elite Engineering catch can in the members classified section recently that was delivered yesterday so I will need to install that before I pull it out of winter storage.

Glad she is okay zandron. Hopefully no more issues with that.
I went to see my dad. He was clean & his color was good today. They were singing church songs & I sat with him & sang for a while. I miss singing harmony with him at church. He could sing parts of the songs before getting confused, trying to turn or take apart the page protected pages or trying to talk but not making any sense, then back to singing for a while again; repeat. Then we went to his room to visit for a while. We looked at some of his magazines & he tried to talk but was not able to make much sense. He is sure having a hard time walking. Partly from poor depth perception, part confusion, part weakness. Mike's parents seemed good today. Mikes Brother had to go to Florida to the Mayo Clinic to have hernia surgery because due to his heart & low blood pressure problems he cannot be put to sleep. He will have surgery tomorrow & fly home tomorrow evening. My niece is really having a hard time following her fall in the bathroom. Her arm was pretty much shattered. They put in several plates but can't completely fix it. She will be partially disabled permanently & somewhat disfigured. They are trying to repair it enough that she can care for herself (hair, bathing, etc.). She will not be able to return to her job most likely; probably a year of rehab. When it rains it pours. And, yes it is pouring rain here too. Enjoy the game.
