Hopefully GM engineers can come up with a response. The new Mustang is going to be a serious car.

I wonder if the Camaro steering wheel got its foundation from another vehicle? The '14 Camaro got ideas from a few other car manufactures as well. Be honest with yourself. |

I agreed with what you said, up until that part about the Chevelle. No way in hell should the Chevelle be the Camaro's smaller brother. If anything, the Camaro should downsize to it's original place and let the Chevelle come back as the big, high power Chevrolet. |

I think they were smart to target beyond the Camaro. After all, if that were the benchmark, most would cry foul, just as the Ford guys have in comparing the Z/28 to a Boss. The Camaro is on an aging platform and Ford is smart to target a higher performing car, as GM will surely do the same when bringing the 6th gen Camaro to market.
If Ford did succeed it targeting either the 911 or M3, it can only benefit the Camaro, as it will force GM to up it's game in response. I think the next round of pony cars will be the best ever seen from the market. I look forward to what Chrysler may do to compete with GM and Ford, if they even try. Will they bring a lighter more powerful 'Cuda? I hope so as it can only add to this category of cars and put all of world on notice that American performance cars are not to be taken lightly. Another added benefit is that it may finally turn the opinion that these cars, Mustang, Camaro, whatever Chrysler, can only go fast in a straight line. The Boss, and the new Z/28 I think are doing it already, but are a small part of the overall pie. Here's to competition!

No Real Competition
I am a sports car nut... heck any car nut, truth be told, and Although I own 3 Camaros and most of my cars through the years have been GM, I don't run away from any other brands. I have been waiting to see the true 2015 mustang for awhile and though the styling is a very minor improvement it falls flat
in my opinion. The render that had it look more like an Aston Martin would have made a much better forward progression....especially in the European Market.![]() The interior, though flashy and improved...looks like they raided the local pep boys for the parts. Amazingly a lot of talk on the boards in in the interwebs about the 2016 Camaro is that GM seems to be following Ford. I beg to differ. The Ford My touch screen...first offered in the mustang 2015, Camaro MyLink 2013, color stitched leather, 2015 Mustang, 2010 Camaro. Styling...the rear haunches...borrowed from GM...hmmm...but they didn't stop there...can we say BMW 4 series Front???? dont see it? How bout now. So in conclusion, though many will find this car appealing and Ford should be proud of their achievments...ie: Independent Rear Suspension...FINALLY!!!! the car still overall fails in my book |

It's bland because they don't want you to buy this one. They will put the good shit on the GT500.
