US Army and La. NG from 4/17/1990 through 4/17/1997...plus one year on IR. Funny how you can remember those dates huh?

MOS 63S (Heavy Wheel Mechanic, duece n'a half on up) then reclassed as 12B to work as 1SGT's aide in a Combat Eng. Co.

I was in Basic at Ft. Leonard Wood when Saddam invaded Kuwait the summer of '90. Never deployed though. By the time I was finishing AIT in Ft Jackson, SC it was all over and I was working on equipment coming back! I wound up working off a M-88 Recovery Vehicle in the Guard for a few years before working for our 1SGT. Good times!
