On another note, a Florida State Trooper walked out on me taking pictures of his Tahoe a couple years ago.

I got pulled over by a Texas State Trooper in a Tahoe a couple years ago. I was driving home from a work meeting in Fort Worth in my Camaro, and he just all-of-a-sudden appeared in my rearview.

I was tempted to ask him where the heck he came from.

I got a warning, though, so I wasn't going to push my luck.

There's a lot more room in the Tahoe than in my little old Vic. I'm pushed up towards the steering wheel. Not much room in the back. IT SUCKS>

Shame, Caprice backseat is roomy. :p

Are you guys using Tahoes to replace CVPIs now?

Back seat room in Chargers is pretty bad from what I've heard. They just look amazing in Pursuit trim.

Chargers are pretty roomy in the back.. Not like Camry status but you can comfortable fit in the back.

Well you have to remember that police cruisers usually have that divider between the front/rear seats. Most departments complain that prisoner ingress/egress is difficult in Chargers.

I just did...lol

Got a brand new Vic about a month ago. Already has 5,400 miles on it. I was literally like the 3rd to last person to get a Vic before they went to Tahoe's. Needless to say, I was PISSED. We mile them out at 70,000, right? So....I hit 70k and don't write it up...you just keep driving it and don't worry about it. Don't write it up (as past mileage for fleet to pick up) and no one will know. Well, some dip shit from another shift who drives it (and it's not even his regular) saw it was miled out. So what does he do? He writes up MY f'ing car. Little shit! It was gone in THREE DAYS. I had been holding out for a month....talking to everyone (down at the garage) waiting for those last 7 cars to go out so I could get one of the first Tahoes. Yeah...I was livid.

Back seat IS roomy. Pretty nice and I liked them.
We got 120 Tahoe's to go through before moving to the Explorers. The first of them went to the upper management... It's cool. They'll have them for a long time since they don't drive as much as us. We are down to about 50 left and then Explorers.

Room in the chargers? Not the best.

Put in the cage and you lose an important amount of room. Front seat won't go back as far and of course the leg room in the back diminishes.

I'm 6'2" 240 and need some space. So, I can have the cage moved back a bit but of course, that really sucks for the guy in the back.

What would happen if you "accidentally" wrecked your CVPI?
