We had a productive but long Music City Camaro Club officer's meeting today. I don't have to meet with my sisters tomorrow about my dad's affairs. My sister called as I was on the way to the meeting & explained that some things had worked out much simpler that she anticipated so we don't need to talk about it. That will free us up to sleep in a bit later in the morning before heading out to visit my dad & go to Mike's parents for another shrimp boil for Mike's birthday dinner. Here is a pic from today.

I ate too many shrimp! But the good news is they digest fast. Weekend over back to work in the morning. But only 3 days then off to the mountains. Here are a couple of pics of Ruby sitting on her throne. She thinks the center console of the love seat is her personal seat.

Good late morning crew. I did not get on the web until after the dreaded bewitching hour for C5 (7:00 AM my time) so did ot get a chance to post. It is a rainy, dreary day here & all my clients have cancelled. I just want to take a nap.

Boring day but at least I have no homework. I did a little reading of some of the new materials I have gotten, surfed around the web looking for therapy stuff & recipes & came home early. Tomorrow is my one day driving to Nashville this week. I am soooooooooooooooooo ready for some R & R! I need to recharge my batteries.

We moved a few cars around this morning, then we started selling cars at 3 PM. I ended up with 3 this evening, including the next to the last one. I drove the Midget, Jeep, and TA. Tomorrow we start rolling at 10 AM and at 4 PM, we start selling the Ron Pratte no reserve cars, about 120 of them. The TV coverage starts then and goes between Velocity and History Channel. I will post on Facebook what I end up with.

Loving the pics from BJ. Keep them coming. Question: how does one get approved to drive cars at BJ. Might want to put this on my bucket list.

Ottawa today, -13 F (wind chill -31 F). Good news clear blue skies and no new snow or ice today. This Texas guy has learned to deal with Canada winters in the last 11 years. Example: at wind chill below -30 cover your ears might turn black and fall off. Then only wear muffs to cover up you lack of ears (only for cosmetic reasons but even in Canada you might look strange wearing ear muffs during summer months.). Did you know at -30 and below your butane cig. lighter does not work to heat a car key to unlock an auto when locks freeze. That is why I keep my auto club membership current. When a car behind skids on ice and hits you and it is -30, your ink pen used to copy their insurance # can freeze up and be useless.

All joking aside I have learned to deal with it and yes have experienced all the above except for my ears turning black and falling off. Would get seriously pissed off if my ears fell off as I wear a custom designed 18K gold ear stud.

Last week, first week of the semester classes, had an issue. One of my students stole my computer disc with my course work product when I was out of the class taking a break after I delivered a PowerPoint lecture. This is a very serious issue and now Chair, Dean, and head of Campus Security involved. Sad to say I can longer trust any of these class students, one student has tainted the entire class. Doubt the thief will be identified because security cameras only in hallways and not in classrooms. Sad this is how the semester started. Good for me I only had this specific course PowerPoint lectures on the stolen disc without lecture notes. So the disc is basically useless to the person that stole it but the low-life that stole my work product did not know that at the time they stole my disc.
