John the only problem is the dogs can't get off the deck to the lawn the snow in the back yard is almost up to the top of the deck. Normally there are 5 steps to reach the lawn now it's one. My one did try to climb out onto the pile but sank and was having trouble getting back to the deck. He was shivering from the cold so I climbed onto the pile to get him and sank past my knees but crawled to him and got him back on the deck and managed to get myself out.

There is still a driving ban in my town till at least tomorrow morning. It is one of the last bans in place and my work is running full shifts all weekend to make up for the three days they were closed this week. I am going in tomorrow ban or no ban I need to get back to work. It will get warmer over the next few days with rain so there will be a massive melt down which will likely cause localized flooding because the storm sewers are mostly burried under several feet of snow. So there could be more road closures causing me additional travel issues trying to get to work so I need to get in hours when I can.

Good Saturday morning crew. It is warmer I a clear day is expected. Ruby Too needs to go get a pedicure this morning them we have some yard work & other stuff to do around the house. I need to go get some STA-BIL 360, put it in with a fill-up of gas & run Ruby a little bit before the next round of brine crap gets put on the roads.

Rain is expected tomorrow & we want to head to Nashville to the Auto Show as much to finally get a look inside the new massive Music City Center as to see the cars. I need to get the stuff to start making some batches of fudge and make some plans for Christmas. My Daughter told me yesterday that my son is not going to get to come home so that makes me sad but Jina will be here. Have a great Saturday crew.

Abaucom, thanks for the link. Great advise there.

Curtis, what a great "toy". What was your time and MPH on your pass. I could not see the lights at the end of the pass.

That's Bad Azz Curts14!

We got our yard work finished up today. Mike took Red Raider out for a leg stretch & tank fill up. Then I got the STA-BIL 360 & a tank fill up in Ruby & tool her out for (as my dad would say "a good blowing out". I stopped by WalMart to pick up my prescriptions & parked by another Camaro. I don't know the person but they must work there as it is in the same spot a lot. Tomorrow we are heading out to the Nashville International Auto Show. I am looking forward to seeing the new, huge & fancy Music City Center where it is to be held, as much as the cars. Here are pics from today.

I think we're finally finished with the pool build issues! Got my check, the lights work, and I have a new digital control box that I have to learn. It's a shame we didn't get all of the automation options, because this controller can do it all.

Went to the Pavilions Cruise today in the Camaro. Here is the link in another forum

Nice butts.

Oh, and my new GM All Weather trunk mat arrived today! Removed the hardtop mat I was using and put the convertible mat in. Fits SO much better!

Thanks Jan.

So the streets were clean enough to take your Camaros out? Glad you guys were able to top your tanks.

Yeah, we got enough rain after the snow to rinse the salt off. It was actually up to about 67 degrees today but rain tomorrow. I hated that the Camaros were sitting there with half tanks during that cold snap but it just hit so fast & lasted a while & nothing we could too. But they are prepped now. Glad you got to enjoy a nice day there too.

Good you got them prepped. That's one less thing to worry about.

Is STA-BIL 360 just a preservative or is it a fuel system cleaner as well, Jan? Thanks

This is from their web site;

Today’s fuel additives protect the fuel and the parts of the fuel system covered by fuel. STA-BIL® 360° Protection goes above and beyond this, providing the ULTIMATE corrosion coverage. This additive releases a corrosion preventing vapor that coats ALL metal parts of the fuel system, including the fuel tank, fuel sending unit, valves, carburetor/fuel injectors and intake manifold. STA-BIL® 360 Protection is recommended to be used at EVERY FILL UP in collector/muscle cars, motorcycles, ATV’s and any other gasoline engine needing the ultimate corrosion protection from the damaging effects of Ethanol blended fuels.
