Snow and temp of 32 with wind chill in the 20's. Into the teens for temps tonight. Is it really November?

Snow flurries during the weekend and today, Monday, continual light snow. Too cold so this stuff will not melt off until next spring. Was hoping the snow / salted roads would not happen this week because either Thursday or Friday the 1966 T-Bird should be delivered from Charlotte. They did fill the tank and added fuel stabilizer so it will go directly from the truck to the parking garage until next spring. Was hoping to get all the fluids changed before winter storage but not going to drive it on salted/wet streets.
Last week pet health care issues which continue to this week. $1000 in vet bills and not much improvement. Expect more vet appointments this week. Finished a 2-week blitz marking mid-term student design projects so will attend classes Tuesday. Due to pet health issues, and auto delivery, think I will cancel my Wed. & Fri. classes. At least I had the Camaro winter serviced last week. |

Since everyone is cold today, I'm posting "cold" songs for music Monday.
Stay warm everyone. BTW, it was 54* here this morning. I'm cold.

Yesterday was the last track day for me this year (hit 129 down the main straight at my "home track"), so today I was going to swap the track tires & wheels off the car for the winter. But it's raining pretty hard so I that's notgonna happen today.
Another one for the season. Norm |

I turn 60 in February. The youngsters are taken aback at my willingness to have a go to see who's car is quicker/faster. Right now, Yelo Maro, is faster than quick.
I don't get out much, so it would only take me about 1/2 hour to return with a low 9 second, street-legal Edsel, if a drag race is in order.

Welcome Curtis and Snidely. Snow in Tennessee what is happening out there. We are not going to escape the Lake Effect snow here. According to the forecast this evening my house is square in the bulls eye for the heaviest snow. 24" - 30" supposed to fall by Wed evening. Then it's supposed to get into the 50's early next week so there will likely be a massive melting causing localized creek and river flooding. I should be fine as there are no waterways except for lake Erie within 5 miles of my house.

Welcome Curtis and Snidely. You have arrived in the right spot! There is a great crew in this thread.
I managed to get out of the office by 3:30 today and traffic was already a mess in Nashville with this Monday night football fame. It is really a sad state of affairs though. Folks could not even give away tickets to the game. Between the pittiful performance of the team & the bitter cold temps, I can't say I blame them. The game is already embarassing. Glad I'm home in the warm!

Welcome Curts14 and Snidely, have you posted here before? I've seen your posts, but not sure if it was here or another thread!

Dang it's cold! Only 17 degrees with wind chill of 12. That just ain't right in November. Pepper is now salt n pepper. It is not supposed to get out of the 20's today. More snow on the plateu last night has closed some counties schools. Not here though. Stay warm everyone!
