Rick, I forgot to say how shiny the blue on your Camaro is. The one photo makes it look like a mirror.

John
Thanks John!

Finished the RV gate, in the dark. it's back together and it looks nice. While I was waiting for the black paint to dry, I cleaned out the pool filters and all of the traps for the first time. With practice, I should be able to do it quicker.

Tonight I found out our garbage disposal has a crack in it. It spits water when turned on. Replacing it is not what I wanted to do tomorrow. Oh well.

Got a question regarding posting car cruise and show pics. Is it better to post them in the photos, spy shots, etc...forum? I started posting them in the Southwest forum to show people we actually do stuff here. I don't seem to get the views in that forum. Should I just post a link in the Southwest Forum?

So no old farts know what that is in my pic above that I was driving behind his weekend? It is the stalks from tobacco plants after the leaves have been stripped off. My dad used to scatter some of them in the front yard this time of year. The nutrients from them would seep out onto the ground over the winter & make the grass super green in the spring.

Good morning. I owe, I owe, so off to work I go...........................but not until I have my coffee!!!!

I couldn't tell what that stuff was. At first I thought it was sod, but there was no green.

I had no idea what it was either, too neatly stacked to be random brush that had been cut down.

We lived in SE Virginia for most of the 1970's, and I got down into NC from time to time on sports car rallyes, but I can't remember seeing tobacco plants in any form other than growing out in the fields.

Stupid garbage disposal housing cracked. I didn't want to do a home improvement today. Been to Home Depot 3 times this week.

Good morning. Overslept again. Just don't seem to be able to get enough sleep lately. Really need my coffee this morning. There will be an eclipse while I am trying to drive home today. That will be distracting. Don't hurt your eyes anyone. HAGD.

I love a clean garage. Now that monsoon season is over, it should stay pretty clean in there. I also brought out the heavy duty white letter cleaner to brighten the Chevelle tires. They turn brown after a while.

Claire has flown back to MD for the vacation she did not have because of her broken ankle. Just me and my son until Tuesday.

I saw the eclipse today. Used some x-ray film and only looked for brief periods of time. Then a guy came along with some number 14 welding glass and you could view it safely through that. It was kind of cool to see even if it was only a partial one.

Great Garage Rick! And VERY clean!

So sad that so many have to put away their toys for so long. But good that you can keep them safe.

No eclipse here as the clouds moved in just in time to block it. My last 2 clients cancelled & I would have gotten to leave early but then I got a call & had to do a letter for court tomorrow. I went ahead & did it just in case it might save me from later being subpoenaed later. But no home work again.

My daughter is home for a couple of days. I am going to spend the night with her tomorrow night in her hotel then have a girls day & night out tomorrow. Have a good evening crew!

Good morning. Brrrrrrrrrr. Chilly. I have more clients than usual scheduled in Springfield today. Middle of the day is still wide open though so I should be able to get the morning notes done & just have a coupe of late day clients notes to do when I get home before taking off to spend time with my daughter. HAGD everyone.

I spent 11 hours doing a paint correction on my poor ol' Dodge Dakota. I've been wanting to do this for over a year, but I kept doing other "things". It was dark when I finished, so no pics.

I ruined 2 pieces of a clay bar that I broke into thirds, and the two buff pads got real "dirty". Unfortunately, the clear coat on the roof is starting to fail, but the rest of the truck looks great!

Going to the Kool FM Car show tomorrow with the Chevelle. Want to see pics?
