Good morning. Having my coffee now, then a few chores before detailing Ruby & getting ready to rumble! Have a great Saturday crew!

Happy Nucklehead Day! Yesterday actually, that's what my hubby calls it, all because I said YES. It's the day he reminds me every year of the consequence of saying YES. That's right, the Day he asked Me To Marry Him.

He thinks it's more important than the day we got married because I coulda said No. So he makes this big deal out of it each year, like showing up at my work with gourmet cookies and brownies for the office and of course flowers. He knows I hate to be the center of attention, but he tells everyone, "you coulda said No". LOL

He also likes to say that he didn't get me drunk, or drug me, or even put a gun to my head, didn't even twist my arm, and I, like a Nucklehead, actually said YES. Boy he's something else.

I did get a fancy gourmet dinner, he knew I'd be too tired to go out after working all day, so he cooked all my favorite stuff. I guess he's a "keeper" after all.

Loved reading this!

We spent some money on home improvements today. We ordered a security screened door for the front door. They don't do storm doors here for some reason. These are wrought iron storm doors with dead bolt locks. They are powder coated in your choice of color.

Then we ordered 7 tons of landscape stone to be delivered during my vacation. We'll be sending the pool builder the bill for that. Tired of looking at my unfinished back yard.

Wow, I'd say so. Looks like a nice time.

Spent most of the day at my buddy's house (actually garage) helping him work on his '71 Buick Skylark Convertible. He has been removing brackets to sand blast and paint. Today we removed more stuff and sprayed some engine paint on the top of the block. Then we changed the plugs, distributor cap, rotor, points, condenser, filters, and I freed up the advance weights in the distributor. Then we re-installed all of the parts and fired it up. Ran great!

Seems I am becoming entertainment for my wife. With my recent weight loss, I've dropped two pants sizes. The largest size pants began "falling off" me, and even fell down to my ankles out in the back yard while we were working. She laughed so hard. So those got packed away and I started wearing the next size smaller. Now those are loose around the waist. We have to unpack the next size smaller to see how they fit me.

Sure, I could wear a belt, but that's no fun.

Good for you Rick! (but funny though) You'd be a nice friend to have around to help work on cars!

Good morning. I have got to start getting my butt into the bed earlier. Coffee time for sure! HAGD.

Good job on the weight loss, you'll reach your goal before you know it! Yeah, that happens to my hubby All The Time, I walk into the room, turn and see him charging at me with his pants around his ankles! Yikes, fortunately he can't run very fast with his pants around his ankles.

Didn't they give men something like saltpeter in the military to keep Jr at bay. I gotta get some of that stuff, he still thinks he's a teenager!

Thanks Jan and Normagene. I still have a long way to go, as I decided to shoot for losing 80 LBS. I expect it will take about a year.

Yeah, I got pretty damn fat, but I feel much better now as I close in on my 1/2 way point.

Good evening crew. I did another hour of testimony via phone today for a total or 3 hours. They are going to be getting one huge bill. I was able to get all my notes done & leave a few minutes early today. Still really nice weather here. I hope this great fall weather holds on for a while. It is heavenly! Have a good evening crew.

Gotta move down another pants size. Pants dropped to the floor tonight.

Only 3.5 days until the beginning of vacation. But we have to endure the remnants of hurricane Odile which arrives here Wednesday. Could be more flooding.
