Yes sure brings back memories. Poly glass, owned a 1966 Chevelle 327 four speed, back in the day. Miss her each and every day.

I went with the Kit from Ofer as I have always been satisfied with the things I have purchased from him. Also his kit was half the price so budget played into my decision as well.

Did not finish the lights today. Mostly because I was reluctant to bake them and wasted way too much time trying to remove the screws for the heat sink with them assembled. Finally gave up and baked them then it took me five min to change them. Got the lights back together and will work on reinstalling them and the controller tomorrow.

Well Ruby finally got her bath today. I did not get to detail her. Maybe one day this week after work I can. I also had wanted to replace the first letter A in Camaro on the driver's side. The Chrome is coming off of it. I bought the replacement emblem from my dealership (only $12). Did not get that done today either. It was just too steamy hot outside and in the garage AND my neighbors took turns mowing their grass delaying my car washing. It ended up being a good thing though as it cooled off some later in the day & the car washing was bearable, but the garage never cooled off. Sleepy time now. Sleep well everyone.

Sounds like all of us had productive days! I washed cars and did yard work. Gonna take some time making this back yard presentable.

Inching closer to the "lost 30 lbs" mark. For the first time ever, I had to tighten my belt after dinner. Don't think I, very ever done that. Doing all I can to keep my pants from dropping.

Yeah, it's a big job alright. What's for dinner? Sorta freaked me out when I watched the install video and they said you bake them in the oven for 20 minutes. Say What??? I went w/the other kit that doesn't require baking them, yet even that was too complicated for hubby. Just didn't have the skill level and/or all the right tools.

I do love the look! First thought about getting the "Demon Eyes" which required baking, but didn't like the small little LEDs, like that halo look much better. Can't wait to see some pics!

Hey Congrats on your diet/weight loss program. Must be doing something right, 30 Lbs is a lot of weight. Good job!

I hear ya on the trying to keep the pants up, although my problem is my husband. Don't know what's wrong with the Old Fart, but I'm skinny just from running away from him. Every-time he sees me the horny dog can't keep himself under control. He's like a little chihuahua humping any leg he can find. I had to switch from a rolled up newspaper to my rolling pin, a few whacks from that seems to do the job of knocking him silly and calming him down for a few minutes.

Day 2 of the light install. Well not much of a day 2 as I did not get home from work until 6:15. By the time I had dinner it was 7. I did manage to get the lights back on the Camaro and mounted the resistors and ran the wires into the engine bay. Tomorrow I hope to get the rest of the wiring installed and test them. Then put the bumper back on Wed. My work schedule is brutal this week so the time I can work on this is limited.

Rick,

What size rims and tires are you running on your chevelle ??

I am going to buy some larger wheels and white letter tires for my 69 Camaro. I want to get a beefier look to the car. Just curious what your are running.

Thanks
John

Good evening crew! Not many clients showed up today so no noted to do. That's fine with me. I am trying to up my exercise level trying to stop putting weight on. I'm still sore from washing the car yesterday & a few leg exercises. I walked the hall at work today for about 20 min & closed my door & danced to a couple or line dance exercise videos. Then when I got home did some upper body work with weights. I plan to get up early in the morning & go out tor a run (if it is not already too oppressively hot/humid) then do some core work & some leg work. It is a start. Got to turn in early if I am getting up early. Have a good evening crew.
