Jan - it must have felt nice when yesterday came together for you like that. I hope you didn't feel like you were still supposed to be doing something around mid-evening.

Rick - I keep going back to your pictures, and what shines through is that the tool is only as good as the person using it. People like me have to get a lucky shot in every once in a while.

zandron - congratulations on getting a win. Particularly when it sounds like you weren't chasing it.

I'll have to pass along all the compliments to my granddaughter.

Heh, a couple of days before her license exam I gave her the opportunity to drive her Mom around the neighborhood in one of our cars (her Mom doesn't drive stick and had never been a passenger with Morgan practice-driving a manual transmission car). She drove off with confidence and a clean upshift to 2nd . . . Mom came back seriously impressed.

Okay, time for a check-up. I was just sitting at my desk doing nothing in particular and suddenly out of nowhere I was really dizzy. I got up & walked down the hall to the clinic & they checked me out. Everything was okay except my BP was 140/70. That was about an hour ago. I still feel a little light headed but not as bad. I made an appt to see my MD in the morning. Old sucks!

Boy, I know how getting 'old' feels for sure. Just did suspension mods on my 2011 SS and boy does the body hurt!

RubyCamaro -- I get that way sometimes too -- when I have too much on my plate. I can't even begin to imagine what its like to having to work 'preschool'. Wow...

Thanks Norm. I've been reading lots of photography books lately. I'm trying real hard. On another note, your above post reminded me of an accident we almost had in Sedona at the Holy Cross Chapel. The drive up to the parking lot is a rather steep hill, and someone in a new Audi A3 with a manual transmission kept stalling it out and drifting closer and closer to our vehicle. Finally, he revved it to like 5K, slowly let the clutch out, and got the Audi going. It was stinky, but bumpers did not touch.

Jan,
take care of yourself... I get vertigo if my allergies act up too much. So I know what you are talking about.

Make sure you take care of yourself Jan. I know that would freak me out as I never get dizzy.

No clients showed up this morning, last one of the day cancelled. 1:00 case opening did not show. I thought for sure my 2:00 would come in, they hardly ever miss and are on time. When they were 15 min late, I called & sure enough, they forgot the appt. So I called the 3:00 & guess what, they had forgotten too. Was there something weird in the air today or what? Other therapists were not having much more luck than I was. Since I was not feeling so well, I left at 3:00.

It was so nice again outside; weird for the end of June in Tennessee, but really nice. I sat out by the fire pit in the old swing for a while (by myself), then watered the plants. After that I sat in front of the garage in my zero gravity reclining lounger for a while (Mike in his ZGRL too). Then when the sun dropped behind the garage, we sat on the new deck swing for a while. Then we decided to go get some Sonic milkshakes & brought them home & drank them on the deck swing. It was weird having that much time on a work day after work and it being so comfortable outside. It was nice just listening to the waterfall in the pond & the fountain by the garage, the birds & random other sounds & just enjoying the outdoors.

I still feel a little light-headed and just-not-quite-right. (Okay, I know you already knew I was not quite right LOL) I can't really describe it but I'm glad I'm going to the Dr in the morning.

Well when I got to the MD this morning all my vitals were completely normal (go figure, like a car that won't make 'that' sound when you take it in to the shop). She was thinking it was an inner ear &/or sinus thing. Then she tested my urine & low & behold, protein was in there indicating my blood pressure has been getting up at times. and there was a little fluid behind one of my ear drums. She wants me to increase my PB med (I was taking it because my heart races), change what I take for my allergies & come back in 2 weeks. I went on in to work & started feeling worse & worse as the day went on while having all my clients show up and they were the clients from hell! Don't get me wrong, I love the kids, it is not their fault they have problems, but they were wired, hyperactive, yelling & taking me to the very edge of my ability to cope given how I was feeling. I did not get any of my documentation done.

Driving home, I started feeling even worse almost to the point I thought It I felt any worse I might pull over thinking I might just pass out. I AM NOT GOING IN TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!! I already called my supervisor. I am staying home, resting, getting my new meds into my system & getting myself feeling better so I can drive Ruby down on Friday to get her mods on. I AM NOT letting this thing get delayed again. Plus, I have the time off & no reason to push myself to go in when I feel badly. So take that Centerstone!!!! Okay rant over. Planning to turn in early tonight, sleep late & when I feel like it do my notes tomorrow.

I hope everyone else had a better day than me.

I went to bed early & slept in late. That felt good. I took the first extra dose of my BP med this morning and the different allergy med. Hopefully that will start to make me feel better. Thanks everyone for the well wishes. What a nice day outside again. I will spend me some time outside today & do my notes from yesterday when I want to. HAGD all.
