Try not to hate me. During summers have about 2-1/2 months of paid time leave and enjoy spending time at home with cats, watching movies, and reading books. Agree, I am a hermit and most weeks only venture out once a week Wednesdays to run errands and every two weeks dinner with local car guys.
Today, broke hermit cycle to get my hair cut every 4 weeks. Beautiful Saturday, clear skies in the mid 70s. Decided I was going to drive my 1998 Riviera that I have not used for two weeks. Riv. would not start, think the battery is dead, no surprise as it is the factory battery now pushing 16 years.
Don't hate me but I only have about 3 more weeks of being a hermit before I have to start answering job related emails. My hermit experience messed up next week. Monday Morning will have to call Auto Club to jump start the Riv. (in a parking garage) and deliver it to my GM dealership for battery testing and replacement. Tuesday have to go to bank and work out retirement funds, seems bank over invested in my tax free retirement accounts and now I owe Canada about $300.
But it was nice driving the Camaro today when I went to get my hair cut. Has been a week since I last drove the Camaro, loved the rumble of the CAT back exhaust installed about a month ago.

I don't hate on ya abaucon21 but I am jealous. I had a great day. It was hot but shady at the cruise-in & a nice breeze. It did not get oppressive until toward the end of the day. There were lots of cool cars, great friends & great free food. (BBQ pork, fried fish, hot dogs, slaw, baked beans, chips, cookies & drinks) Here are a couple of pics & link to more. I have only loaded the IPhone pics at this point. I still have pics from the camera & one video clip yet to process & download.

Thanks OLD FARTS :) For your support and Prayers :)

Ok below is the results I got today We have good news but we aren't out of the woods yet. What the FISH test says is I no longer have a High Grade Carcinoma. This doesn't rule out it still being a low grade carcinoma. Keep the prayers coming we are heading in the right direction. I have a Doctors appt. Monday and they will go in and take a look inside my bladder I want to thank all of you for the LOVE and support.

Results; Fish Test for Donald G Helseth
No evidence of urothelial carcinoma. This test result does
not rule out the possibility that the patient may have a low
grade (i.e. grade 1 or 2) non invasive papillary urothelial
carcinoma. Some patients with low grade non invasive
papillary urothelial carcinoma do not have abnormalities
with this FISH test.

That is great Skip! Hopefully you will get more good news very soon. Keep taking good care of yourself.

It is going to be a very hot & steamy day today. I need to get out early & get the bugs off Ruby before it gets unbearable. Later this evening we may get some rain. I want Ruby to be clean when I take her in on Friday to get her mods & tune on! I'm so excited! Have a good Sunday everyone.

I am 53 and am not "over the hill," nor an "old fart." I do not have young people cars - I have always had classic and muscle or sports cars, since I was 18. I hate when people see one of my cars today and say, "Midlife crisis," because if that were the case... my midlife crisis began at the age of 18 when, in 1979 I purchased my first modified 1960 hot rod. I've driven almost every cool car since and always have a good collection. You're only "over the hill" when you actually identify yourself as such. Today's young people cars are small smarties or fish aquariums on wheels.

Welcome aboard! Don't get too hung up on our thread title. Others of us are not too fond of it either but it is what it is. We are well seasoned like a fine wine, but these cars keep us feeling as young as we are in our heads.

Trust me, I have the same worry. I sent him an email on Friday to verify & plan to follow-up with more emails this week & a call on Thursday.

I hope you have another grill besides that one. You don't really think that little thing is going to be big enough for pool parties.
