I, sir, may be crazy, but I am not a crazy driver, thank you.

Good morning. It is rather chilly here this morning. I might even have to put on a sweater in July in Tennessee. We hit a record low last night. I think my wrist may be getting better. I hope so. But every time I think so, I go to pick up something little & Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuch! I better finish my breakfast & coffee & get myself ready for my day.

I have decided to say to heck with my company (to a point of course) & take off tomorrow to drive to Tullahoma, Tn for my uncle's funeral. I had thought it was not a good idea with all that is going on, recent & upcoming days off & a "mandatory" meeting that morning. But They can't really tell me I can't take off for a funeral & I am going.

If you see this zandron, I may be unavailable by phone part of the afternoon/evening tomorrow. Hope you are having a good time. Call me today or early tomorrow & we will see what we can plan on.

I am so jacked up right now with this effing pool build . Of course no one showed up today. Called our contractor governing body today for a consult. Unless they do nothing for over a consecutive month, there is nothing they can do.

It was a fairly good day. I managed to get all my clients for tomorrow rescheduled except one whose phone I could not get through to. One of our front desk staff said she would keep trying to call them. I got all my notes done except I have to finish up a case opening. I got to leave a little bit early. When I got home Mike had bought a cushioned 3 person swing with a canopy for the deck. We sat on it for a while on this perfect evening. I forgot to take a pic. I'll do that tomorrow. Then I came in & tried on clothes to wear to the funeral not sure what fits anymore. Sad as it sounds I tried to remember what I had worn to the last 2 funerals. It is the saddest thing about funerals that it is the only time anymore we see our extended kin.

Story time:

My mother was one of 7 siblings all of whom married & had 1 to 5 kids of their own. Now there are 2 more generations after that. There are a lot of us. Now there is only one sibling left from my mother's family & one wife of one of the brothers and my dad surviving. We have only lost 2 of my cousins. One when I was a small child in a target practice accident & one a couple of years ago from asbestos from automotive work. Uncle Dick was a trip. Smart, funny, goofy................he always kept us entertained, Magic tricks, jokes & cutting up, he'd bring & demonstrate old interesting toys that they used to make & play with as kids, collecting all kinds of antiques from A & T model Fords to the most oddball trinkets, household goods, to civil war items, you name it. Their house is a floor to ceiling stockpile of museum quality pieces, then there is a huge country store shed, the old cars in the yard.....................it is EVERYWHERE. His wife, My aunt Dean is my mother's lone surviving sibling. She is in assisted living. They had 5 kids. The oldest has been battling cancer for several years. I do not look forward to tomorrow. But I will be glad to see my cousins.

Well are club Upstate C5 N.Y. 220 members strong. We are headed for a 4 day partying up to Oshawa, Canada. Possibly the last tour of the plant allowed. This is the last year of the Camaro being built in Canada. They are moving various car builds between Michigan & Canada. This will be my 6th BBOMG. #3 in Oshawa #1 in St. Cantherins #1 in Detroit.

Nice story Jan. My condolences on your loss.

And yes, I know what you mean about an entire family getting together for a funeral.

Good morning crew. I slept in this morning which was much nicer than having to get up extra early to go to a stupid meeting I did not want to go to. But this is not the way I wanted to get out of the meeting. It is a nice morning but crisp & cool. As I predicted, the cushions of the new swing are dewy. If we want to sit out there & drink coffee in the morning we will either need to get a cover or a box to put the cushions in. I think I'll bake some cookies to take up to the funeral home. I guess that is a southern thing. Coffee time. HAGD all

Sorry to hear of your loss Jan. I have been enjoying this spectacular Tennessee weather. Been driving with the windows down sitting outside the trailer reading etc. Yesterday we went to the Loveless cafe for dinner very good food. Then we went downtown on Broadway and went to a few bars. Today I think we will take a ride to Lynchburg and go see t he Jack Daniels distillery.
