While I was looking up some stuff on Patriot Ordnance Factory and cruising the NRA website, I stumbled upon an article on a rifle called the Del-Ton Evolution. It's only $1300 for what seems like a well-equipped rifle. Does anyone have any recent first-hand experience with Del-Ton?

The only store bought AR's I have is the cheap $600 Del-Tons and I LOVE them! I've shot Colt's, RRA's, Bushmaster's, and several other brands. My Del-Ton's shoots better then most I've shot and just as well as $2,000 hand built AR's.

You'll love it, my brother has one and it's one of the smoothest pistols I've ever shot. If I remember correctly the XDM series was NRA's handgun of the year in 08? 09? Good choice

Ive had a xd and loved it but wanted to upgrade...... its been a week i hate waiting. They said 10 days after the gun is in. They had to order it direct from springfield. They tried to talk me out of a few of the options that I wanted but I refused. If i am paying that much money for a pistol then i want it all and I dont care how long i have to wait. Ive got plenty already upstairs if the sh** hits the fan....
