Sorry to hear this Jan. Hope you get a call later today.

Today a crew came to trench for the gas line. This will feed the spa heater. Luckily I was already awake when they knocked at the door. Can't believe someone can't call us when a crew is coming, but we've gotten used to it with this company. Makes for interesting betting.

So whose pile of chips is bigger - yours or Claire's?

Good to hear of her recovery progress.

Her's. I'm forever the optimist.

However, based on our drawn out experience of this pool build, we calculate 9 more weeks until completion. That is based off the builder completing one operation/task per week, and we figure there are 9 more major things they have to complete. They are;

Pebble Sheen
Tile
Install cleaning fixtures and water fixtures inside pool and spa
Hook up electric and gas to source and set up and hook up equipment
Install the electrical board
Drop pads and deliver the pump, filter, and heater
Fill in the mile of trenches surrounding the house
Fill and test pool systems
Final clean up of the yard and spread landscape rock

I see the potential for additional weeks of like operations are not combined.

Good evening crew. Interesting & busy day. I had lots of clients today so despite my best efforts, I have some homework. My sister, Jill texted me to say dad's assisted living facility called her telling her his blood pressure was low again. They said they were going to take him off one of his meds & see if that helps. Jill is out of town & the other sister may be at the lake as Jill said Judy did not respond when she texted her. So I have to check in on Daddy this week to see if he is okay.

Still have not heard anything from the kids. Hope they are okay & having fun.

Another preschool staff person's job was eliminated today. She was given the choice to take a couple of other positions in the company that are currently vacant. She is not sure what she will do. Might even go to the Peace Corp. That means all her clients will get dumped on me. Not sure when I will see them as I can't find time to see the ones I already have. I suspect something is going on with the other former preschool staffer. Only her, Mel, and myself are left now from the preschool staff. She (Mel) is taking 2 weeks off which she has never done in all the time I have known her (maybe 15 years). Strangest thing is the girl whose position was eliminated, was one of the few staff whose productivity was always good. There are therapists at the center who have never even come close to making their numbers. Oh well, you just can't predict what the folks up in the ivory towers will do.

I better get to work. Have a good evening.

Watching some new show called "Motorcity Madters" on tru TV. Car designers working with Chevy on a new design for the Cruz, and Malibu. The winner gets a new Z28. Just started watching, so far it's pretty boring. Not sure I'll watch the whole series.

I am doing a little work from home tonight. Had to install some software on a laser etcher in our North Carolina plant that is always busy during work hours. Its easier for me to VPN in and schedule the install after hours then remote to the machine and check on the status. Its probably got another hour to go and I am tired so I will sign off and check it again when I get to work tomorrow.

I have seen a few contest's were you can Win a Z28. Strange how they are only making so many and they are being bought up for contest's. Reminds me of the Plymouth Prowler . They were supposed to be the poormans hotrod. Of course all the Dealers bought them and jacked up the price were the average man couldn't own one :( kind of SAD.

Yeah, I watched it the other night. I missed the end though. Meh, Not very impressed with the first episode. I was not very busy today. I'm tired though. One more day /till the weekend! Supposed to be rainy here tomorrow. I'm hoping it rains it self out so Saturday will be nice for a huge car show to support military personnel & their families. I have some stuff to do on computer tonight. Have a good evening crew.

The intro to this show is shot on the footsteps of the GM headquarters. It's all Chevy, the two judges drove up in a new Stingray and they showed all the new Camaro's. But the actual build is in L.A.

The usual two teams, one team has the Cruz and the other team is chopping up and redesigning the Malibu. It's definitely All Chevy.

Hey gang!

New twist to the pool build today. It seems Paddock Pools here in AZ was bought out by Cameo Pools, also here in AZ. Met our new construction supervisor today, right before the city inspector came to inspect the gas line install. Had to laugh as the inspector, Michelle, commented how long this was taken. Yup, I agree! She's been here so much we know each other by name.

This new guy stated our build was farther along than some of the other builds, and that the next job is to install the tile. He also said he would send a crew out to clean up our yard. I told him I am more concerned with filling the friggin trenches that surround three sides of the house. Taking the garbage out is an adventure, especially now since there is a deeper trench in front of the garbage cans, there is a trench under the main gate door, and a dirt pile in front of the secondary gate. Oh, and I now have two drip line leaks.

Anyway, he will be ordering our equipment so that stuff can be installed sometime. He did say they will be moving on our build very soon, but he was sent out today to inspect all builds that are in progress to see what they are dealing with.

I'm now receiving heat from some saying I have not been a squeaky wheel in handling this pool build. They certainly have been slow, but I cannot accuse them of "abandonment" as they did show up once in a while to make some progress. We signed no performance clause, so I have no legal grounds for the length of time. I would never dream of doing this to someone else, especially if they did not ask me for my opinion. And one of my critics is 2400 miles away!

Some people! Just ignore those folks. Hopefully the pool gets finished up soon.

Good morning. Heading to the Local office today & hoping the folks scheduled there show up. It is not raining yet so hopefully it will wait until I get to work. HAGD all.
