It can. I was there for New Years a couple times. I don't recall really sleeping for a couple days at a time.

New Year's 01 was probably the most hardcore. I think they had over a million people on the Strip during the countdown.

that's not possible. lol this year there was a record breaking 300,000 plus people that came to vegas. I believe there was projected 100k or so locals. so we are looking at less than 500k. And that was the most ever...so far.
