The forecast for the remainder of the week here in Maryland calls for a 60% - 80% chance of rain. I suppose the car cruises will end up being rained out.

The extreme high humidity made this a two shower day. Been a long time since I've been in this soupy air!

Hung out with some buddies for lunch and my sister for dinner. Didn't do much else today. To me, this type weather is oppressive and I just drag ass.

Got tired of driving a dirty rental, so I vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior of my rental Camry. Had quite a bit of seagull poop on it from Ocean City yesterday.

I had a very busy day. While I was in with my last client & his mother my phones started ringing. I am not allowed to answer when with client. After they left I checked messages & the assisted living facility had called my sister & were sending my dad to the hospital with low blood pressure. As I was driving home my sisters kept texting me. I could not respond but looked at them when I could. When he arrived at the ER his BP was 97/47. My sister said his heart monitor was very wild & irregular. He was dehydrated. They started IV fluids & did chest x-ray. He has pneumonia & is still in the ER awaiting admission to the hospital. My older sister is staying tonight. I am finishing up my work then will turn in so I will be somewhat rested for my turn. They have already said he will be there at least 2 days. Prayers requested. Good evening all.

I have not heard anything overnight or so far this AM. Texted my sister but nothing back from her yet. Hoping no news is good news & the nursing staff is letting them rest this AM. If I don't hear anything before time to go to work I guess I'll head on to work & plan on my day being Friday. I can leave work if need be. HAGD all.

If there is anything that I can do, let me know ... I am really close by, after all!

I hope your dad is feeling better. I have been busy this week as one of my wife's friends passed away on Tuesday. We knew she was sick with hepatitis but did not think she would only last a week. She had a rough early part of her life which led to her getting the disease but cleaned up her life about 20 years ago and had lots of friends that cared about her. She was only 56. We are helping to take care of her pool and some repairs on her house until the estate can be settled.

Praying for Ruby 's dad. Lost mine in '82. I remember him every day. Zedron life is so precious. Count every day as a blessing.

Sorry to hear of your loss Zandron.

Hung out with family today. It was raining, again, so we stayed indoors. Since I've gotten so used to the heat of Phoenix I now have to wear a coat when temps are in the low 70's and raining.

There is an 80% chance of rain Friday, so I doubt I'll be going to the Lowes Cruise. I really hate taking outside photos when it is raining, but I guess I'll make the best of it. Cloudy day photos don't appeal to me.

Skips doing well had my last Chemo session for this round. Now we wait 6 weeks and let it do its thing and then back to the Doctors. Then something called a fish test! Then they put the camera back in there and take a look see. Keep Praying that's what I’m doing peace and thanks

Glad the chemo is done for now Skipp. Hope it kicks the big C's butt. Sorry for your loss Zandron. Nice of you to lend a helping hand.

Well my post from last night did not post. Oh well. Daddy finally was able to get to sleep. He had not slept since he arrived Wednesday at 4:00 PM . He was so restless, talking constantly , making no sense, constantly tugging at his wires & IV, trying to get out of bed, etc. They finally gave him enough meds that he relaxed but fought falling asleep like a kid. Then he started dreaming, waving his arms around & talk fling in his sleep. Sadly, he was able to formulate better sentences and make more sense asleep than he could awake. His cognitive ability had been declining the last few weeks and now this is really taking a toll on him. I'm afraid we may have had our last lucid conversation with him. He was dehydrated, has a kidney infection & pneumonia. He slept from 10:00 PM until about 4:30 am. Now he is drifting off to sleep again. He actually just made a good sentence saying he appreciated me coming to help him. I 'm thankful for small things right now. I better rest some now too. Thanks for the prayers crew. They are needed.
