Some IT issue at the home office cut my OT off early tonight. Wishing this would happen more often.

Excuse me if I vent. Spoke to the vet today regarding fat Arab cat Ramses. More than $700 in blood and urine tests in the last few weeks. Ramses does not have diabetes (good). Have not 100% eliminated cancer or bowel disease. Only option left to test is surgery. Did that with cat Rosebud, she had cancer and bowel disease for more than 2 years (treatment close to $30,000), then cat Meme was treated for bowel disease (treatment close $20,000). Both died after years of treatments (daily shots & daily medications). There is no cure. Treatments only helped them to remain comfortable.

So starting next week I will give Ramses his B-12 injections and monitor. Could take weeks if not months to determine if he is developing cancer and/or bowel disease.

Today I am frustrated that for more than a year there has been a shortage of B-12 liquid to inject. Why a shortage of B-12 liquid for more than a year? It is easier to buy crack on the street then buy vitamin B-12 liquid at the pharmacy. Wish I was younger because I would trade street sex for the B-12 Ramses needs.

I'm sorry to hear of your dilemma. That last sentence is funny.

Sorry to hear of this difficult situation abaucom21. It is odd why certain medicines are often in short supply. I have had that problem myself several times & still continue to struggle with availability of one of my meds. I thought it was all about supply & demand but apparently not. What's up with that? Anyway, I hope the kitty gets better & you are able to get the meds needed.

Might hit 100 here today. On average, our first day it hits 100* here is May 5, so they say.

Might as well get working outside.

I hurt all over! I planted a few flowers then Mike & I washed, waxed & detailed the truck inside & out. It did not feel that hard when we were doing it but boy afterword we both started stiffening up & getting sore. Tomorrow Pepper needs a bath & maybe Ruby Too & both need a good coat of wax. Mike is on his own with Red Raider. Hopefully that will work out the soreness. It was a perfect day outside. You could not have custom ordered anything more perfect. After we finished with Daddy's Girl, Mike grilled out some steaks & I set up Ruby Too's "playpen' out on a patch of clover & played with her a while. After I ate I needed a hot that with Lavender Bath salts, Calgon Lavender Vanilla & Lavender bubble bath. After a nice long soak I felt better but I still hurt. It is times like this when you know you are old. Anyway, it was a very nice day & good exercise. Hope everyone else had a nice day too.

Good Sunday Morning crew. Heaven help me I have discovered Pintrest. I started exploring it at the urging of my supervisor who in turn was introduced to it by 2 of our younger colleagues. They find resources to use with clients there. So I started exploring. Turns out, it is a great place to store all sorts of great things you find on-line but then have a hard time finding again. I am still learning how to find things there but it is very addictive so beware if you haven't yet been there. I need to get outdoors earlier today as it is going to get a little hotter here today (80ish). Have a good day.

My daughter urged me NOT to explore Pinterest so I'm following her advice!

Size: 47.5 KB. It been rainy and in the 50's all week and weekend. It's supposed to get a little better starting tomorrow. I went to Cleveland for a game last night and got invited to a suite by one of my friends there. I snapped this picture of the American Flag because it looked like it was glowing with the way the sun was hitting it. I just thought it looked really cool.

Why?

Well it is late & I an worn out again so this will be brief. This weekend we got a lot of stuff done. This morning Mike cleaned out the gutters. While I did some indoor chores. Then he washed, waxed & detailed Red Raider & while I detailed Ruby's inside. Then I washed & waxed Pepper. I have had another warm soak in the bathtub to try to loosen my still muscles & had to do some stretching after I got out. It is better but I wonder what I will feel like in the morning after a night of sleep. I just hope I can get out of the bed. After next weekend's lady's cruise, Ruby will get a bath & cleaner wax. After the next event, she will get Meguire's Next Generation wax & she will be ready for the summer.

Right now I need to get my butt in the bed. Sweet dreams all.
