yeah, there's a slimmer, newer one. Came out last year.

you can refresh the motor without doing anything drastic.

my concern is with the fact that if it truly has only 40 miles (and the odo didnt roll over), then the car has most likely sat around in a garage and hasnt been fired up very often. which allows moisture to accumulate in the cylinders and the crankcase which can cause rust formation and increased wear when the engine is fired up. not to mention... how old is the oil? is it still even oil? or is it just sludge because he (like most people) think that your oil only needs to be changed based on the miles you drive... not any measure of time as well.

If I could ever get a hold of it, I would want a mostly stock resto. The car has probably NEVER ran since like 1972. The motor was put on a crate, stand since then. Who knows how it is. He has quite a few cars. Mostly 60's 70's mopars. roughly 20ish.
