Well folks We are not having much luck with electronics here. We ordered a new, new camera this weekend. Hopefully that one will work out better.

Then last night the new computer freaked out. It had acted up once before & we hoped it was just a fluke but it did it again last night only much worse. I had let it go to sleep while I went to clean out Ruby Too's cage a little. When I tried to wake it up it would not wake up so I touched the power button thinking it shut it's self off. The button got stuck & the key board started flickering off & on & it was making a weird whirring noise off & on too. It did that a while then started saying it was doing updates but repeated the same thing like 15 times. then it started running system checks & saying certain parts failed. It did that a few times too. I ended up going to bed & Mike was still messing with it. We are taking that sucker back today & demanding a brand new one. They will have to take all my pics & information out of that one though. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

It is snowing here. Temps not supposed to go up much today & windy then getting even colder tonight. No fun. Have a good day folks I gotta get going.

Ruby - you should really invest in an external hard drive of some sort. At least a couple of large-capacity flashdrives.

It's chilly enough here that I don't particularly wantr to be doing an oil change on my wife's Subie, but two times out of the last three the dealership service managed to crimp the new oil filter enough for it to fatigue-crack and start leaking after about 1000 miles. We're going out of town Thurs - Sun (road course track days for me = getaway time for both of us), so I don't have much choice. An inch or so of snow is forecast for later today and I'll deal with cold concrete with a few snowflakes before cold concrete wet from melting snow every time. The dealership can save themselves the cost of our one remaining free service.

Not quite sure I can ever retire, so I haven't even thought about it. We've planned for it, but have not thought about how long we would continue working. Our bodies will probably tell us.

Good luck with your technology issues Jan. What kind of camera did you get?

Luckily I had only downloaded hte pics out of my I phone. I still have others on flash drives or still on SD cards needing to be downloaded. Yeah, an external drive would probably be a good idea, bit just got to try to do things a little at a time.

I checked on it spike III & you are on my friend list. Not trying to ignor anyone just trying to add folks as I see you are not on my friend list. If you notice before I do you are not on my list, feel free to send me a request. My list is long & takes a while to check.

It's a sad day here in Western New York the owner of the Buffalo Bills Ralph Wilson Jr passed away today at 95. While the news is not unexpected it does put into question the future of NFL football in Buffalo. The team will eventually be sold to the highest bidder and that person may not have a desire to keep the team here.

Hello !!!

Been a little while sense I checked in with the old farts....

Rick
Got to look at the picture thread from the Sands Car Show. Some really great machines. I like the old Vettes. Especially the Mid 1960's. Would like to add one to my collection when I get my ZL1 paid off.

Ruby
Hope you get to filling better. The winter has been extra long this year and I can't wait for unlimited use of my cars again.

Hope everyone and their families are doing great.

John

Also a sad day for a great Buffalo Bill Hall of Famer. Former Quarterback Jim Kelly is fighting with every thing he has. He is coming up on another surgery for facial cancer w/ his wife by his bed side.

I am praying that Jim Kelly makes a full recovery they say it's an aggressive cancer that he has.

Thoughts & prayers to families & friends of Ralph Wilson & to Jim Kelley & his family/friends.

I had a fairly busy day today & just finished up my notes. Mike spent much of the day argueing with the pharmacy who did not run a couple of our medications though our insurance correctly & tried to charge us waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than we should have to pay. He won but did not end up with enough time to take the computer back today so that will have to wait for tomorrow.

It snowed much of the day today but it did not amount to anything. It is getting bitterly cold tonight with brisk wind so I suspect that will be the end of my flowers. I noticed some of them were already a bit frostbitten from last night.

I sure wish they would finally release the HP dyno tune for the LLT so I can get my headers front sway bars & tune installed. I am tired of just looking at boxes of parts in my garage.

Have a good evening everyone.

The southeast valley had a haboob (dust storm) today. Since it has been dry here, forecasters believe we'll have many dust storms this year. Most of the time, they peter out by the time they hit up here in the northwest valley.
