Good Saturday Morning crew. Off to a Camaro club officers meeting this afternoon. Our Valentines "gift" yesterday was confirmation that Mike has moderate heart disease (no surprise to me) with mild to moderate plaque in all 3 coronary arteries. He was also found to have mild fatty liver disease. This together with his already recently diagnosed 2nd degree kidney failure have been a wake-up call for him. This guys is what happens when you go 30+ years without going to a doctor. Hopefully he will finally start taking his health very seriously and start to treat/reverse some of this.

We all need to take good care of ourselves & protect our precious health. Have a good weekend crew.

That is good advice Janice. I see my Dr at least once a year and now that I am past 50 I scheduled my first Colonoscopy. I am not looking forward to it but I would rather know early if something is wrong so it can be taken care of. My high cholesterol was caught early as well as a rise in my BP so now I take meds to keep it all under control. I want to live a full and healthy life so regular checkups are essential. Good thing for your husband is they are catching the heart disease before he has a heart attack so he should have a good chance to reverse the problems. Make sure he follows the doctors orders and I hope he will be fine.

Went to the Pavilions Cruise today. It was mostly sunny and almost 90*. Quite a few cars were there!

Good morning crew. Time to go visit My dad & Mike's parents. It is supposed to be a pretty day and next week warmer but rainy. We had a productive club officer's meeting yesterday & I am finalizing our event calendar details. Have a good Sunday crew.

Good morning again. Up early this morning to get an early start on trying out my new route to work. Should be a good day for trying it out with Metro Davidson Co schools out & government offices closed traffic will be light. In that sence it will not be a good test of what it will be like on a normally heavy traffic day but good for learning the route. There has got to be a better alternative to that 1 hr 45 min commute home I had on Friday. Hope most of you have the day off but for me it is off to work on my first work day in hte new office. I did not schedule any clients for early since the commute is unpredictable at this point. It is supposed to be raining again this afternoon which will complicate the drive home. Have a good day all.

Gotta work today, and I do not feel well. During our road trip yesterday, my sinuses started hurting, and this morning I woke up with a sore throat and feeling achy. But I'll march on and get some work done.

Speaking of road trip, we drove up to Prescott Valley, Jerome, Cottonwood, and Clarkdale. Walked through some of our favorite shops and bought some neat stuff.

Larry's is in Cottonwood and is a very cool place. You'll find a huge variety of stuff in there, including car stuff.

We ended up at a Red Lobster in Prescott (next to Prescott Valley) for my birthday dinner. Used a gift card from Christmas.

Happy late Birthday Rick. Love the pictures. I REALLY need to go to Arizona some time.

Weather is looking up here for now, at least. Sorry Jan, change is difficult for sure.

In honor of Music Monday

From Chicago to Boston, feeling stronger is more than a feeling
