Busy first day back & just finished my homework. I went to my exercize class & made it through. Back still hurts some but seems to be gradually improving. We are dipping into the low single digits tonight & wind chills into the negative range. Brrrrrrrrrr! I dread getting out in it in the morning. Really tired now. Sweet dreams all.

Nice musical choices yesterday crew. Well I survived my first day back at work but I still have some catching up to do. The worst part of any vacation is always the first few days back at work.

Well my back pain has now degraded to a mild but generalized ache accompanied by a stuffy/heavy feeling head & ringing in my ears. I generally feel tired & lethargic, just yucky. I sure hope I am not about to get sick. I think I will turn in early.

I feel better this morning. I guess my body was just telling me to go to bed & get some rest. I'm taking Pepper in this morning to get her first service/oil change this morning. The first one is free at the dealership. It will be convenient this time as the dealership is close to my current office. I doubt I will go back there for future oil changes/service as after we move to the new location it will not be so convenient any more.

Another bitter cold day today but at least we don't have the snowy/icy mess they are dealing with to our south. My daughter called me yesterday & she thought it was hillarious that they were supposed to get freezing rain & snow in Tallahassee & everyone there was freaking out. Stay safe & warm everyone.

Good to hear you're feeling better today, Jan. I'm no stranger to back pain either, and I got a little twinge this morning bending over while scraping an inch or so of snow off the driveway before cars and shoes and dog footprints turn it into something that won't scrape at all.

One of the top news stories on my browser's start page this morning was the weather conditions in the deep South. Be safe, and stay out of it if you can. I know how much familiarity with snow/ice driving I lose in only 8 - 10 months from spring to first snowfall, so I don't even want to imagine coping with this stuff with experience that's lots further from being current at best.

Thanks for the well wishes. I left work at about 3 yesterday (I think our area of town was not as heavily hit). I picked up my grandson at school and ran some errands. It was snowy, but not icy. My daughter had a difficult time getting out of Atlanta, but she got home ok. We're shut up in the house today. All the schools and most businesses are closed down. From what I understand I-75 is a parking lot/ghost town..........I feel for those families that got separated!
