Happy New Year's Eve! I still have to go to work but will be off a little early. Traffic will be bad again so getting out of town early is a good thing. It will be 32 degrees for the music note drop tonight but it has been a bone chilling cold lately that feels much colder. The young folks can have that crap. I'll be sitting here with a glass of wine in my warm house. Have a safe & Happy New Year. Now give me COFFEE!!!!!

Happy New Year's Eve gang. Getting off from work early today too.

Wheezing less and less each day. I was able to exercise this morning and I think I'll do my lunchtime walk too.

Happy New Year to all of you. So happy I was off today and tomorrow. It's 20 here with high winds feels like the single digits outside. We will follow our normal New year's tradition and stay home and cook a nice meal and watch movies with the fireplace going and the dogs cuddled up on our laps. For those that are going out be safe and don't drink too much.

I got to get off early but not until after myself & several other staff had to physically wrestle with a client who was wreaking havoc on our famly room. He turned over furnature, took down & broke the pictures off the wall, threw stuff at us, scratched, grabbed, hit, kicked & anything he could. (and he is only 8 yo). He broke one of my favorite necklaces (I think I can fix it), knocked off my glasses & grabbed & stretched my brand new shirt (but it is okay). I did not get hurt though. One staff got scratched on the face & one got some bruises. This went on for over 2 hours before police & mobile crisis got there. As soon as they arrived I got my butt out of there since I had no more clients scheduled and it was not my client. I have more than done my time dealing with this type of stuff. Let some of the young ones do it this time.

I was cleaning out my desk earlier today & found an old pic of me back in 1991 that was in the local paper, when I was director of the Springfield mental health center. I was so skinny. That is when I was the happiest in my career & most proud of myself. I looked so cute & happy. I'll try to take a pic of the pic & post it. I was wearing a suit that was probably a size 1.



I'm ready for some adult beverages now!
