Mike will pick up the turkey & cheese tray from Kroger & we can will be done. I have to have things that can be served whenever. My kids are totaly unpredictable. Jina will arrive whenever she gets good & ready & Ryan may not.........well actually, almost certainly will not come at all but just in case.........If not I will bring him his Rice Crispies treats to my in-laws house Christmas day.

Nice job on the clock Rick. I'd welcome you to my house anytime. Especially today as we will just be here by ourselves most of the day. It is really weird. I miss my mama so much today, as every day.

Claire and I are still sick, but at least we "feel" better. I'm taking less pills today which is a good thing.

Hopefully we got everything wrapped (I kind of got drafted to pick up some slack concerning the youngest granddaughter's gifts and conned into showing the oldest granddaughter how to wrap - that part I might have been set up for and managed to walk right into . . . oh well, kind of a Huck Finn thing).

Son and son-in-law are both home (both are CDL-A, so my house is home to more than just my wife and me). Son (ex-chef) whipped up a prime rib for last night (not much was left), and shrimp and bacon-wrapped scallops for appetizers about an hour ago that are pretty well gone. Daughter is doing up the desert menu.

That youngest granddaughter (3rd grade, age 8) is an early riser - her being up by 5 AM on any given day is nothing - so I'm not expecting any of us will get to sleep in tomorrow.

Might be time to attack that ham that's just sitting there on the stove unattended . . .

Well I know it is still Christmas Eve but I already got my present. My son & daughter came to my house. Jina Came at 4:00 & we ate a nice meal, opened presents & had dessert. Then the doorbell rang about 7:45 & it was my son who I have not seen for about 2 years. Here is a pic of the 3 of us & one of my daughter & me.

I got to spend time with my kids again this time at the in-laws house. I went by to see my dad & took him some of his Christmas favorate foods first them on to the in-laws. Here are a couple of pics.

Dang! I sure did not want to get up this morning. I sort of wish I had taken the day off but I was afraid I'd be depressed & needing the distraction. But My son surprised me & came both to my house & the in-laws house, stayed a pretty long time & was very pleasant. I could have used the rest this morning & then gotten started on taking down decorations. But too late now. Maybe lots of clients will cancel & I can leave early. I REALLY need my coffee now. Hope everyone's Christmas was nice. Get well Rick & your wife.

I had a busy morning then all my afternoon clients cancelled so I did get to leave early. I have been home since 4:00 which feels rather odd but I was glad. The quiet in here makes me think most of you are still off & enjoying the holiday aftermath. I hope so. And I hope Rick you & your wife are feeling better.
