Also want to make it stand out a bit more.
Welcome! I would not get rid of the borlas. If you want mostly sound, I would recommend short tube headers and a cold air intake. The most popular intakes on this site is CAI, Injen, root-fab, and vararam. You can't go wrong with any of those. Take a look at those and see which you think looks best.

Can anyone tell me if I can tune my V6 with the clear cable for trifecta or does it have to be the red one?

Just BMR 1.4 inch springs. Going to swap those right onto the SS lol

I've built my own last couple PCs, and some for friends or family...nothing serious and I haven't for a long while. But unless you are aiming for a specific high end gaming rig or something like that, its not as cost efficient to build a PC as it used to be. Hell you can go get a decent fullsize tower with an i5 processor for 450 - 550 and throw in a decent graphics card for 150 - 200 and you are set for gaming...again unless you want to game at very high resolutions with all the goodies turned on. Guys that want that usually will go for the best quality RAM, SSD, and a current high end GC along with an i7 processor or something like that, but that gets costly and isn't worth it to me.

With the new i series chips out there most off the shelf computers are pretty quick with very minor work done to them. Heck I just read on an article that a company was able to over clock a fourth gen (Haswell) i7 3.5Ghz (not 100% sure on the number but know it was in the 3.X range) to 6.3 Ghz. Granted a lot of work had to be done and they had to use liquid nitrogen because no heat sink or fan would be able to cool that much but it goes to show how well these i series chips are built. But personally if I was building my own computer I would consider a AMD chip over an Intel one because they are a little cheaper and you can get a chip with more cores through AMD.
Yeah I'll still stick around if I have time.

Didnt know all this about building a PC...

I'm just trying to play most modern games with decent graphics. what would be best for that? Just finding somthing I could add a graphics card to?

Not sure, I haven't tuned yet and probably won't for awhile yet.

With Trifecta, it really doesn't matter which cable you use, or no cable at all. You can just as easily wave your hands over your ECM and say "Abra-Kadabra!" Should net you about the same results.

Just a heads up, might want to check and see if you can use the bmr from the v6 to the v8, because I think they are a little different. Like the spring weight or something. At least I think I read somewhere that they are different.

Good point now that I mention it I know some companies have different springs for the v6 vs v8 while others say its the same. Not sure about BMR def worth looking into.

I actually bought V8 OEM struts and V8 BMR springs from the get go. A lot of the stuff is the same. There was no difference between V8 tie rods and V6 ones either.

Lolol putting the rest up now, not much. Catch can is spoken for, stock engine cover and some cut outs, oh and my vararam!

Oh yeah and some 1LTs! With sticky michelin pilot sports and blizzaks for up front. Both 50 sidewall. I was going to go to the track and see how the michelins performed.
