Me too! Happy Friday! It is another cold but dry day here but there may be some showers later today. I'm glad Fridays are a shorter day. I will probably cook a pie tonight not sure what else. HAGD all.

My son's 19th birthday is today. Gotta admit, these 19 years have seemingly passed very quickly. And time seemingly passes quicker as we get older? Wow.

Yep I have a son close to that age & the years do seem to fly. They can keep flying for the next 6 years then I can retire! I got to come home early & managed to get a pie cooked made the cheese logs. I also got my sisters' presents ready to wrap. Now my back hurts from standing up too long but it's all good. In the morning I will finish up some documentation from work today and wrap presents then do some more cooking. Rest well all.

Good morning. Rainy here but it is supposed to clear fairly quickly which is good. They initially thought the day would be a washout. Maybe I wil be able to convince Mike to go get me some sweetened condenced milk for my fudge. He accidentally got evaporated milk instead. I can't complain though I gave him a long list of a lot of stuff he was not familiar with. Of all things to mess up on though, he has bought the SCM for me dozens of times for my fudge recipe. But he got everything else right as far as I can tell.

I need to get my computer work done now so I can get started cooking & wrapping presents. Have a great Saturday everyone.

We are having birthday party tomorrow for my mother-in-law's 70th so we need to finish cleaning up the house today. Then I have my office Christmas party tonight at 7. It should be fun except that they are calling for 7-10" of snow through tomorrow morning. I won't let it stop me from going and I should have enough time to clear the snow from the driveway before the party tomorrow. Have a good weekend all.

Well I got all my doccumentation finished by about 12:30 then cooked the rest of the day. I got a lot done. Now I am taking a break & eating then I will wrap gifts. Everything is on track. Hopefully that will continue & we will have a good day together. Well, back to work for me!

Didn't feel particularly good today, but still managed to work around the house. At least it was warm outside today.

Good morning. I awakwned this morning by dreaming that my husband was yelling for me to get up because I had overslept..........................But when I woke up not only was he not up or yelling, I had not overslept. Weird. But I got up anyway. I have finished breakfact & as soon as I have my coffee will get busy cooking again. I am looking foward to hosting my first Christmas gathering. HAGD all.

6" of snow yesterday another foot this afternoon I think I will be safe for the White Christmas everyone loves.

I don't need that much of a white Christmas though. A dusting is just fine with me.
The dinner went fine. No disasters & everything came out fine except my cornbread. I think I was just not patient enough & tried to get it out of the pan too soon, but it was okay. Daddy was pretty confused but that is to be expected. He was not belligerant so I'll take confused. Here are a few pics:

That's a lot of snow Zandron. I don't miss it at all. Some of my east coast friends are already praying for spring.
