I hope your flight ends up being uneventful.
Well we had our club party but the turnout was very low. Folks had good reasons & the weather was terribly cold but you just can't have a great turnout for everything. It was still nice. We are supposed to get another round of freezing rain tonight. I sure hope it does not get bad. Then it is supposed to warm up & just rain later tomorrow. We are going up to visit my dad & Mike's parents tomorrow. It is nearing my bed time as I can't sleep in much in the morning. Sweet dreams.

There are probably about 3 different weather forecasts for tomorrow circulating around here. I just hope the frozen stuff holds off until I am in the air.
We finished judging the cars at the show tonight. It was great seeing all of my east coast friends and some familiar cars.

Good morning crew. I woke up to freezing rain here this morning. I will post a few pics. It is currently changing over to ust a cold rain but it is still freezing in Clarksville where we will be headed.
hopefully it will stop or change to rain there before trees & power lines start going down. Then a couple of pics of the nice boxes Mike & I got in the Dirty Santa game last night. Well, that is not exactly true. I got mine in the dirty Santa game. They were made by our host on their lazor etching machine. Mike heard Toby comment about messing up the first one & that he was going to throw it away. Mike said "don't throw it away, "I'll take it". Toby was upset that the etching was not centered on the box. So Toby decided to make a metal etched label for it. Their business started around this time last year, is really taking off. So much that they have ordered a second etching machine. They make some really cool stuff. They also made us each cool key rings. Andy got us each lottery tickets. If one of us wins the rest of the crew will really be sorry they didn't go. Here are some pics:

It didn't start raining here until quite a while after I got home, but none of it turned to ice! Woohoo! Still raining, but was expecting it to be nasty out, and instead it warmed up to 35 degrees.
I probably shouldn't have been surprised to be the only Camaro to make to the get together last night. ![]() Hopefully, you hit it big Jan - I am routing for someone in the group to win the $344 million. And as for the fudge, I shall treasure it always ... or at least for the next couple days while it lasts! Thanks! |

That freezing rain may be headed my way. I finally got the Camaro tucked away for the winter. Actually we have not driven it for the last 3 weeks but I needed to give it a final rinseless wash before I could cover it and just could not find the time till today. After the wash I moved it to the side of the garage where I keep it and hooked up the battery tender and covered it up. I may pull the cover off from time to time to do some winter mods but it will stay covered most of the time till spring.
I also took the chrome running boards off my Silverado today as well. They just accumulate too much slush in the winter and it gets all over my pant legs when I get in and out so I find it easier to just remove them and reinstall them in the spring. It helps to keep them from getting rusty from the salt as well. The weatherman says the old lake effect snow machine may start up this week so I figured to take advantage of the cold but dry day to get my car work done.

Good morning. My back is still hurting but not as much. It is weird. I didn't pick up anything or do anything that could have hurt it. I guess when you get old things just hurt sometimes. It is exercize class day so maybe I can work it out. Time for coffee now. HAGD all.

Finally arrived home last night at 10:30 pm. Thanks to the weather in Maryland, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours. Then a head wind kept us from exceeding 400 MPH, so the actual flight took longer too. At least I'm home where it is warmer and there is no frozen stuff on the ground.
![]() Feeling worn out this morning, but I still have to work. Don't think they are going to get much out of me today.

Jan - Those boxes looked really nice for the party. Our club has been pretty quiet lately. We're doing a dyno day at Vengeance Racing on January 4th and there's a benefit ride (supposedly) to benefit the charity for Paul Walker this Sunday in Atlanta. Looks to be 1000+ cars if the response is accurate! I think we'll be talking about weather a lot this next year..........it sucks so far.

Good evening crew. We are supposed to get some more frozen precip of some sort tonight. It does not sound like it will amount to much but winter precip is very hard to predict accurately around here. I had a so,so day & a not too strengent work out, but I am tired anyway. I think I'll turn in a little early. Later.

Nashville drivers are insane! We did not get a single flake of snow here but Nashville got a inch to a half inch and there are wrecks everywhere. The interstates are either totally blocked or at a crawl with traffic backed up for miles. Schools are closed in most counties. WHY? It is very cold and the reporters are saying the snow turned to slush then re-froze making a thick layer of ice. I guess I will go ahead & get ready & see if roads improve by the time for me to leave & make a decision then. Stay safe & warm everyone.

SNOW DAY!!!!!
![]() By the time roads improved & I could have made it in to work, it would not have been worth it for 2-3 clients who likely would not have shown up. This is when having lots of paid time off in the bank pays off! I guess I can make some fudge today.
