Be safe. Looks like a good chunk of the country had a pretty cold Thanksgiving. I am stuffed. And worried about Daddy's girl. We drive her & on the 37 mi trip up there she ran great. But coming home she started to sort of backfire. Not a really loud sound & really intermittant. It got worse as we drove. All gauges read fine, no dummy lights, nothing visably wrong under the hood or under the truck. It was otherwise running fine, idling fine, shifting fine. Not sure what is going on with her but I guess she goes to a shop for a check-up tomorrow. She is Mike's daily driver now & we need her to be okay. She only has 24,66X mi on her.

Good thought Rick, but it was colder on the trip up than it was coming home So I would think it would have been worse on the trip up instead of visa versa. We are going to try some gas treatment this morning then take her to the Chevy dealership. We have some good folks there.

Great day to put up some Christmas decorations. Doing my part to make it look joyous on my cul de sac.

Starting to stress over my air travel Sunday morning. I'll probably have to arrive at the airport WAY early Sunday morning. My flight is at 6:55 AM.

Well the truck ran fine today after Mike added some fuel treatment. We are still in watch & wait mode as we are not sure that is what it was. It was also considerably warmer today & it could be one of those elusive things that sort of comes & goes, so...................we will see. We ust stayed close to home shopping a bit. We got some things we needed for decorating around the garage & inside the house, got presents for both of my sisters, Mike's dad & mom, one of the 2 Dirty Santa game gifts for the Camaro club party AND My favorite find os all knee high soft fuzzy socks for me to sleep in! I have them on now & love them so I am going to get a few more pair. And some for my daughter & sisters. Oh and one more thing. An adorable little Ms Santa coat for Ruby Too! Now it is time for rum infused adult beverages. Cheers everyone!

Yeah, I suppose I knew that. My concern is how crowded, or not, the airport will be. I HATE waiting in the baggage line and the security line. Otherwise, flying is kinda fun.

All the lights are up! Had to make a quick Home Depot run to get a few more things. I broke two of my terra cotta roof tiles yesterday. First time I broke ANY! Anyway, Googled how to replace them. After buying two pry bars, I did as instructed and replaced the tiles. It was SO easy! Sure I saved lots of cash. Glad the previous owners left about 60 roof tiles here.

Tomorrow we are putting up our decorations. Now is is nighty night time. Glad you got your decorations up & the roof tile damage repaired. Pics or it didn't happen! LOL

We have been working on the decorations off and on for the last week. I will finish the outside today except for the ones that I need to climb on the roof for too much snow up there for me to walk on it. We should finish it all this coming week.

Good Saturday morning crew. It will be warmer here today so a pretty good day to get the decorating done. They are also coming today to install our new dishwasher. We are going to start slowly updating the house. The kitchen appliances have not been replaced since we bought the house in '89. Coffee's done now so I need to get movin'. HAGD.

Thanks. My relatives back east told me to decorate a cactus. Real ones are expensive so I had to settle with a fake.

Nice picture Rick I wish I could go to a cruise night with the top down. I spent the day decorating for Christmas. I will try and take some pictures tomorrow as the lights that I put around my fence decided to stop working between the time I hung them and when it got dark outside.

We got what little bit of decorating we plan to do, done today. Here are a few pics. Mike did the outside & I did the inside. Ruby would not let us put on her Christmas dress yet but she lat us take a few pics with it layig over her back. Too cute though.
