It was a relatively slow day again today. This at least in part secondary to the fiasco over our being one staff person down & the chaos that whole situation created resulting in our clients not getting reminder calls of their appointments (usually made the day before the appt). These calls were not madefor today's appointments or yestredays & I'm guessing that today htey did not call Monday's appointments. Many of our clients just can't manage to remember their appointments without these calls. If this causes me not to earn my bonus, I am going to be PO'd!

I am wondering what the status of my headers & H-pipe set-up is & when it will be ready. I'm getting anxious.

Sunday we will visit my in-laws for my father-in-law's birthday & visit my dad. Not sure what we will do tomorrow. It will be too cold to do anything outside. Have a good weekend!

Hope things work out for you Jan. When management wants to "re-engineer" the business, there is not much the worker bees can do about it. Took my management 5 years to realize the re-engineering failed. At first I voiced by opinion, but when I realized they were ignoring me, I kept my mouth shut. Be positive and find a way to make yourself valuable to the company. Let me know if I can help.

Another rainy day on tap, so I'll be working on cars. Time to change the oil in Claire's car. Bought another turn signal lever for the Chevelle, so I'll replace that today. The steering wheel has to come off.

I did not do a damn thing all day. (Well just folded some clothes & unloaded the dishwasher & swiffered the floors but that's close enough to nothing for government work). Now I am having some adult beverages beside the fireplace. Now that is a Saturday!

Installed my new, shiny turn signal lever today. Didn't realize how bad the original lever got over time.

Wet weather kept me home today, so no Pavilions Cruise today.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! It is SERIOUSLY cold here tody. 19 degrees is miserable and it is going to syay this cold for several days with added wind chill making it feel even colder. High today might get up to 40. We won't even hit a high in the 50's until next weekend. PLUS, rain mixed with a little of the frozen stuff more days than not this week. NOT FUN.

My silly rabbit is trying her best to get Mike to get up but he is not having it. She keeps going & scratching on the bedroom door. She is so silly. She does not like her routine to be changed & she is ready for her people to be up.

I need my coffee now..................to warm my hands. Have a good Sunday crew.

It's really cold here too Janice 15 right now not supposed to make it out of the low 20's. It is partly sunny with lake effect snow around but not at my house. I am still considering bundling up and going out to clean leaves and maybe hang some Christmas lights. I also will take the Camaro out to top off the tank and put in the stabil so I can have it ready for storage. The forecast here is cold with off and on snow all week so the Camaro is done till spring at this point. I have worked 109 hours over the last 2 weeks so I just have not had time to do any work around the house lately. Have a good Sunday all.

Was 31 degrees and sunny. Left home in fourth qtr, as Vikings were leading Packers, for a Fundraising Benefit Concert for the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan happening at Guardian Angels in Oakdale MN. Haven't eaten regular food from the Philippines since 1972! Hoping proceeds get to the people in need! Just bakery sale along with silent auction and great entertainment. Great turnout. Had to get gas when I left and parked in front of another Camaro. He returned behind my back but we did a thumbs up. Should be nice enough to drive again Thursday. Not sure about Monday. Back to Blue-J2. Surprised a tie in OT.

The rain finally ended today, so I washed Claire's car off (it was stinking up the garage) and did some other chores. Even cooked breakfast AND dinner.

For the folks east of me, a storm is headed your way. Dumped 2+ inches of rain on us.

Yeah, I know. Yucky week ahead; rainy, clamy & c-c-c-oooooooooooold.

I am full & miserable. My mother-in-law stuffed us to the gills & sent us home with a ton of food as per usual. At least it is just a short work week. Have a good one. Anyone traveling have safe travels & Happy Thanksgiving in advance if you are headed out early.
