Great pics Rick. Makes me yearn to grab the camera and head for southern Utah. Can't drive the Camaro though. It hasn't been a week since my carpal tunnel and cubital nerve surgery. I need some strength in my left hand to hold the steering wheel while I shift. I'm not quite that healed up yet.

Welcome Led Boots. You aren't too young for this crowd. I think we have a few younger than you that hang around here now and then. Heck, I'm not even the oldest one here in spite of how ancient my kids think their old man is!

Hope the healing is speedy & smooth Lightning.

Home again with a too full tummy. My mother-in-law cannot resist the urge to cook.

Daddy was okay today but it is so sad to see him declining. He always loved to read, just about anything. Now he looks at magazine pictures & struggles to read the captions or titles, is very confused by the pics he sees, & then will go back & do the same thing again in 5 min. Dad had a small Gene Autry Guitar that hs played with as a boy. (I have it somewhere but it is in bad shape). We have a pic of him with it slung over his sholder with a cowboy hat on at maybe 12-14 years old. He saw a pic of Gene Autry in a magazine today & said why does he look so young. He has got to be 80 years old. I just let that one alone. Couldn't think of anything to say. Here is a pic of the sunset as we were leaving his assisted living facility:

Yeah, rain at car shows kinda sucks. Been there, done that. Not too enjoyable.

Maybe your paint is so slick the dirt just flies off when driving.

Had a fun day in Sedona today. Had a nice breakfast here at the resort, then went to some art show (not my thing), then went to the Sedona Wine Festival. Drank lots of good stuff and bought a good cigar for the evening. Then we walked the shops on the main drag (not my thing) where I got to check out a Nikon D7100. I want one bad!

We came back to the resort, had dinner, then walked around some more. Even walked up to this real neat shop full of neat artsy stuff. I will TRY to snap a photo of the place as we drive by tomorrow. The skies are so clear and dark here I was able to see the Milky Way. It's even a bit too bright where we live to see it.

Only shot 10 "driving" photos today. I'm not into taking pics of crowds. Just not my thing.

I moved the camera on this one. However, if you look to the left, you can see the Foghorn Leghorn statue (below the no u-turn sign) at that neat shop.

Moved the camera again. :(

The traffic jam starts here. Still about a mile to Rt 89A.

Taking a ride on the Verde Canyon Train tomorrow. If I sit in a good seat, I'll try to shoot some good stuff.

Had some more wine and a cigar while sitting on our porch. The sky is beautiful, and the temps are in the 60's. I am so relaxed and chill right now. Life is good.

Pictures are so pretty, I need to take a trip there. You all must have had fun!

Welcome to the group. Yes, some younger, some older, but we all love our cars and meeting other owners.

We had a great time! Very unique place to visit and very enjoyable! Sedona is one of the few places nature did an awesome job with artist duties.

Last year we visited the 4 corners, then drove north for a bit on that Rt 162 and Rt 163 Scenic Route. It was unbelievable how many miles you could drive without seeing anyone (or anything) else. Wow. Got some pics somewhere I think.
Get better soon.

I must have worn myself out fiddling around with Ruby yesterday. I slept like a rock & didn't wake up until much later than I usually sleep even on weekends. Today is going to be a leisurely day. Just a little driving & spending time with family. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
Felt like that this morning, but we ventured on with vacation plans.

We took a ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad today. It is a four hour train ride through the Verde Canyon. Lots of cool scenery. I'll post up more pics later and I don't feel too well right now.

Entering the canyon.

I'll post up more tomorrow. Need to go to bed.

Those are more great pics Rick. That looks like a nice adventure.

Merit said they will do it again next year. Right - Blue-J needed cleaning. Handled well in the rain at 75-80.

I am sitting here at 11:32 and just finished my work. YUCK. It was a lousy day. A slow morning then a NON-STOP afternoon. I soent some of the slow morning trying to map out my commute route to our new office location and ended up really depressed. I totally dread that move for a lot of reasons. Some of them have to do with changes to how we do things that they plan to make along with the move. Those feel like they expect me to do my already terribly stressful job with my hands tied behind my back. Then the location. Basicly you can't get there from here. At least there is no good way to get there from here.

Exercize class kicked my butt too.

ANYWAY, I need to sleep now. :(

Great pictures of the south west Rick. The train ride would be very interesting to me, railroads are a second interest behind cars. The 69 Camaro is now drip free. Next project is going to be to get the pov air conditioning valve set for 134. Spent family time tonight celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary. I was lucky enough to find a mate that allows me to follow my passion for cars. I am truly one of the luckies old farts alive. John
