Took the 57 corvette to the fun fest at mid America motor works on Saturday. Must have been over a 1000 parked there together. Always impressive to see fine machinery. Took some pictures of the 2014 vette. I will try to attach them. Sorry, I guess it will not let me post them.

Hey Skippy, I remember Hastings! My Dad liked to drive to Prescott, WI. pretty regularly and going through Hastings and stopping at a Mickey D's knock-off called M&H Burger Stand was a routine event. It was located on the main drag that ran through the town (not in the downtown area).

It'd be too bizarre if that is where Old Porky's is now located.

Well not so Some Farmer made a Log Prarrie days exhibit, he's got stuff from the 1800's to the 1950's on display. So the Old Porky's(from ST. Paul) was rebuilt there. As for the bridge going into Hastings is was condemmed and a New one built. it just opened couple months ago. Soon the Old one will be taken down. Time moves on <<< I feel really old sometimes LOL

Don't think of it as old, think of it as the benefit of the "long view."

Good evening. Just a quick check in. A busy day at work followed by a hard core 2 hour work out has me worn out. And I still have computer work to do sooooooooooooo, I'd better get to it or I will be falling asleep with this laptop still in my lap. Later crew.

Hi gang.

Very cool sig Skip.

Finished polishing both cars today. Machine Super Sealant has been applied and is curing overnight. The Camaro looks awesome. Cavalier looks much better.

Back at it tomorrow!

Good morning. It came a little too early for me this morning. I could have slept another hour. Another chilly morning here and a chance of rain later. I need coffee! HAGD

Hey all...
Everyone's cars and trucks polishing jobs look great, really nice work... I am jealous. Skipinminn sig looks great too.

Need a favor... jokingly, kinda

Please send anti-Murphy's Law thoughts my way... Leaving for Dallas for the new job tomorrow AM & driving down in the SS. Family stays behind for three months packing and letting school play out...

Short Version: It's been one heck of a couple weeks. first the daughters car needed a timing belt....fun. Then it needed a new PCM computer, installed it and the thing threw a bunch of new codes, changed some sensors only to have it run good for short periods and take a dump again, change the crank sensor again and it took a dump again after one drive, took it to the dealer and they say I have to use OEM parts... fine (that’s the short version).

Then the same daughter’s long time boyfriend wants me to help change his plugs... was not an easy job but that went smooth... but then the next day his thermostat takes a dump, thermostat is under the car and the wife in her efforts to downsize our stuff sold my old floor jack, so I go buy a cheap jack at Harbor Freight, okay so that is still playing out.

So then this past weekend we sell one of my boats to a good friend and upon moving the truck to swap out boats I find that I have a rear axle seal leak... great... take it to the dealer to get new seals, now I need brakes too... there goes 1200 more bucks...

Geeze what's next.. Wake up this morning (note wife and I sit in the garage to smoke, drink coffee and we keep our PC’s out there as well) Well first thing this morning at 04:30 the darn door knob is broken, no key to the outside door and the remotes do not work… and the door knob is really broken, spring hinges not easy to drop off... lock is busted to the point I had to tear it apart down to nothing to get the door open... That woke me up.

So I am going to go get an alarm installed on the SS today, pack up and load the car and head to Dallas… Need some good vibes sent our way…

Just thought I would show how well things are going for all you guys...

See you in the funnies

John
