Welcome John! Great crew here to hang out with.

Good morning gang. It felt good to finally have a morning to sleep in. Sometimes your body just says "Enough! Just sleep!". Mike is still asleep. I can't sleep too late or I get a headache. Not sure exactly what we have on tap for today. Just going to wing it. Have a great Saturday everyone.

Thanks for the welcomes...

Happy Saturday!

Well, my last day at my old job was this past Thursday... I leave this Wednesday from Boise for Dallas to start the new job the following Monday... (Driving the SS down) Leaving the wife and kids behind for three Months to pack up the house which will be very hard on the wife and I both.

But I do get to see my other two married kids in Texas so bonus.

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

Dihydrogen monoxide:
- is the major component of acid rain
- contributes to the "greenhouse effect"
- it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
- contributes to erosion
- accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals
- may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes
- has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients

Despite the dangers, dihydrogen monoxide is often used:
- as an industrial solvent and coolant.
- in nuclear power plants.
- in the production of styrofoam.
- as a fire retardant.
- in many forms of cruel animal research.
- as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.

Companies dump waste DHMO into rivers and the ocean, and nothing can be done to stop them because this practice is still legal.

The American government has refused to ban the production, distribution, or use of this damaging chemical due to its "importance to the economic health of this nation." In fact, the navy and other military organizations are conducting experiments with DHMO, and designing multi-billion dollar devices to control and utilize it during warfare situations. Hundreds of military research facilities receive tons of it through a highly sophisticated underground distribution network. Many store large quantities for later use.

Australian legislators actually jumped onto the bandwagon on that one for awhile.

Out here on the coast we have a problem with that stuff. It seems that Sodium Chloride has somehow mixed with DHMO in the ocean, and made it completely toxic to humans for drinking. What is this world coming to?

Gotta love the Aussies!

I've accidentally inhaled it before, that was traumatic! Dangerous stuff... that chemical will kill you in seconds if used improperly!

Research conducted by award-winning U.S. scientist Nathan Zohner concluded that roughly 86 percent of the population supports a ban on dihydrogen monoxide. Although his results are preliminary, Zohner believes people need to pay closer attention to the information presented to them regarding Dihydrogen Monoxide. He adds that if more people knew the truth about DHMO then studies like the one he conducted would not be necessary.

Good evening crew! I am BEAT! I washed & put a coat of spray wax on that barge of a truck of mine. Tomorrow I will drive it to Clarksville & take daddy out in it to get some Ice cream. He will be tickled at the new mods we have done to it & how clean & shiny it looks. Here is a pic of my handiwork:

Looks great Jan!

Started the day working on the Cavalier again. The interior clean up is done, and the seats are back in it. Washed it and clayed it. After looking at my 2 contaminated clay bars, I'm probably safe to assume it had never been done. My buddy called later and said we should go to the Pavilions Cruise, so I cleaned up the Camaro and headed to Scottsdale.

I'll be back at it tomorrow. Gotta replace the O-rings on the Cavalier injectors. Hope that fixes the leaking problem.

I'm up & at 'um. Getting ready to color my hair then head out to take Daddy's girl to see my daddy & get him out of the assisted living facility for a while. We will probably go by to see Mike's parents for a while too. HAGD all.

It was a pretty good day. When I got there to get daddy his wallet was on the counter, wet & all it's contents laid out wet all over the counter. I asked him what happened & of course his response made no sense. I called my sister & she said she gave him $40 yesterday because he calls every 10 seconds thinking someone stole all his $ or fussing that we better bring him some $ if he does not have any in his wallet. I looked all over the room for the $ (he hides things because he is afraid people will steal them, then he can't find them & claims they did steal them. No $ to be found. I talked to staff & they said he told them last evening he lost his wallet & they found it in the washing machine (staff do the laundry) but only $20 and they gave it back to him. He had a fall last week too & had a bruise on his head & knee & was walking stiff. We took him out for a milkshake & sat on a picnic table at a park for a while. It is just sad. But we had a nice day anyway.

I'm sure he enjoyed the day with you Jan.

I worked on cars all day. First job was resealing Cavalier fuel injectors. Pretty easy job, and so far, no leaks. Since it is no longer a fire hazard, I parked it in the garage and prepped it and the Camaro for paint corrections. Both have been clayed and received IPA wipe downs. Managed to correct all but the right side tonight, so I will continue tomorrow morning. I can tell the difference, but not all of the scratches are coming out. But no swirls!

My son told me that I didn't have to do his car,and that it was "fine" as is. Told him it's all his to take care of after I am done, and while I am still teaching him to drive, I have to be seen in the car. :p

Impressive attention to detail Rick.
Good morning crew. First day of fall and the chill in the air this morning is consistent with the change. I neede my coffee this morning to warm my hands. It sure seems like the weekend is not nearly long enough. Oh, well off to work I go. HAGD all.
