Interesting that C5 has been down so much lately. The phone system at my work has been down as well. It's a VOiP system. They said the carrier has a trunk line that runs thru Boulder County Colorado and that it was severed last week by the incredible runoff there. Funny how a problem in Boulder can affect phones here in Utah. Do you suppose C5's problems could be related?

I've been watching the situation in Boulder very closely. I went to school at the Univ. of Colorado in Boulder back in the Jurasic age. Saw some footage on the national news of the water flowing thru the campus. They've told the students to stay indoors. Ha! These are students you knuckleheads. Young people. Right while the reporter was saying that, there were several students in the background getting as close as they could to the rushing water with their cell phones to take pictures and video.

Hi everyone.

Very excited for my son today. We'll be picking up his first car. It is about as basic as they come, but it was inexpensive, well maintained, and will be perfect for him to learn how to drive without worrying about damaging mom and dad's cars.

I'll post up photos later.

Lightning, I've been watching that situation in Colorado too. Wild stuff. Hope everyone stays safe.

Yep, Being safe around rushing waters is really important. Hoping things improve ASAP. I lost a car (& very nearly myself) in an urban flash flood in Knoxville, TN 20 something years ago. It was pretty scary stuff and it was small scale. Water is powerful stuff.

Stayed busy this evening with community stuff. When I came home, had to inflate the Cavalier tires. Fronts were at 19.5 PSI and the rears were at 18 PSI. Claire removed some decals and I replaced the windshield wipers. Needs an air filter, so we'll install a new one before getting it smog tested.

Found $.63 under the back seat.

The Cavalier is a good little car. I loved mine...................until it drowned. It was the car that died in the urban flash flood. It sat completely covered in water after I managed to escape for 18 hours before it could be moved.

Good morning gang. I was really tired. After dance class our instrucror had us doing sprints of varying lengths. I ended up running the length of the basketball court 60 times. I was first to finish each sprint. I was tired. Slept a bit later this AM so I'd better get going. HAGD all.

Hello All, I am age appropriate for this group. I call my '12 2SS "IkoIko" named after a song that I sang as I jumped rope when I was a little girl. The song made me smile and so does this car. So,I just want to introduce myself and share a smile with you from time-to-time.

Welcome lkolko! It is pretty quiet in here tonight but the crew will be back. It is a great place to hang out among great Camaro comrads. It is sleepy time for me now. Rest well everyone.

"IkoIko" welcome to the "Old Folks" i am not familiar with the saying while jumping rope. I only did it during evil basketball practice and did not sing any songs during that. But never to young or old to hang out with us....
Just so I am not so uniformed how do you phonetically pronounce your handle?

Welcome IkoIko

The Cavalier is now legal! It passed the smog test, so we were able to register it, also got the title, all for $35.75!

Now it needs a good cleaning and detailing which I will get to next week. So far, we paid for a missing hub cap, wiper blades, air filter, smog test, and the MVD administrative stuff.

It is really a nice little "cheap" car!

Good morning crew. It is another hard workout day for me. I hope I have more clients show up today, no-show days make the days pass slowly & are boring. Then there it the fact that they are making it hard for me to earn my bonus. Humidity it on the rise with a chance of rain too. Temps have been nice though. I love me some fall weather. HAGD all.
