Yea, that's how the first batch used to be installed. They revised it because it wouldn't stay on with only double sided tape. It's basically useless without the rivets. You can get an install kit from gmpartshouse but they are pricey. I think at least 100 from what I remember.

My GF is super low maintenance, she said if I ask her to marry me with anything other than a gold band she would say no, I don't have save for a ring, just car parts. Not to mention she is the reason my car got sand blasted in the first place, I prefer country music to the Coachella music, but she really wanted to go...so we did. To top it off the only reason the back bumper is getting painted is because she backed that into a light pole

As far as I know, it's a GM designed specific install kit for the splitters. Guess it couldn't hurt to ask in the cosmetics section.

Are you doing the install yourself?

Because when I got my zl1 bumper it doesn't come with rivets, you are suppose to reuse the ones you have, but the garage had extras because they save them. It is really cool to see all the extra parts they had just laying around.

well i still would need the 8 aluminum rivets because they have to be drilled into the bumper.

depending on what the 6th gen looks like, for me. if it looks real good, i'll wait for the 50th anniv. if not, i'll be getting a used 5th gen.
