I was going to say that the stock Blazer SS EV looks better.

As far as Ford losing billions on EV’s that’s no surprise. If they were bailed out exactly like GM they would be in far better position right now. The pull back in EV’s may help them if they can fix their quality top to bottom and roll out some decent hybrids.

I think it looks good....not sure how stock it is...doors (2?, 4? None?), rear glass, etc....The wing looks racey....Give 'em credit for trying at least.

Actually I posted the wrong picture. That was the Blazer EV.R, a 1,300 hp NASCAR prototype. This is the actual Pace Car(?)

I'm going to be the guy who admits he likes it. A lot. But then again I'm a big fan of station wagons.

I'd happily drive it, but only after losing the wing.

Much better look than the race version...That was a close one!...lol

Seems like they're keeping the "EV" part on the down-low with the graphics and stickers...lol. (that might keep the booing down as it goes around the track, not to mention its an SUV as well...another "first"?).

Good point, is there ANY indication on the graphics at all that it's an EV? Isn't this part of the persuasion campaign to flip a core Chevy consumer demographic over to EV?

For Chevrolet the only indication that a model is an EV is that the "E" in the model name is 3 blue lines. The lines are conceived to look like battery cells. So the "E" in Equinox, Blazer, Silverado will all have the 3 blue lines. There's no E in Camaro so that might be interesting when they decide to launch a Camaro EV. Camero? Or replace the "M" with 3 vertical blue lines.

For Cadillac, the model names all end in "iq". Lyriq, Optiq, Vistiq, and Escalade iQ.

That's as much a truck thing as an EV thing. My dealer has Silverado High Country trucks on the lot for well over $80k. RSTs in the mid 70s. ZR2 trucks are going $78k.

The Blazer SS looks nice with the styling vents or whatever behind the front wheels.

And one of my favorite features is the two-tone paint. Hope it does well.

The driver side vent is a powered charge port cover.

Well, if they're going to build a Camaro EV it should be this Blazer SS morphed into a 2-door coupe.

Why build a Mustang Mach-e like EV Camaro when you already have this Blazer SS EV?

While I agree the 1500s have gotten out of hand, a $100K truck is loaded out 2500/3500 Territory. That said I know the "EV Trucks" are formidable, they are still not HDs

You can get a loaded out full towing RAM Rebel Crew Cab with the Cummins for $90K

Even a loaded out High Country Duramax 2500 is less money

The Limited RAM 2500 Loaded out is right at ~$98K

I hope the battery dies In the middle of 1-2 or 3-4 where you have to be going at least 90 to stay on the banking. Such a stupid thing to bring to the Daytona 500. A new ZR1 would have been appropriate. This is an embarrassment. I don’t even know why I admit I’m a Chevy guy anymore.

Don’t even get me started on them racing a car that is closing in on 2 my’s out of production. What a joke. I’ve been following nascar passionately for more than 3 decades. This is an all time low.
