Diane, you and your Family are in my thoughts.

Rick, looks like you've got some brave cars and owners

Jeanette, Great pics, looks like you're having a great time! Those cloudy skies over Mt Rushmore look sooooooooo appealing.

Happy Sunday to all the OF where ever they are today!

I can safely say this was the HOTTEST cruise night I've ever done.

Keep yourself safe out there in that heat! Mike loved the pic of the Crossfire.

Sturgis looks like a lot of fun. Wish I could be there.

Good morning crew. It is going to be a very pleasant day here only getting into the low 80's. We have to clean out the bunny cage (not that she is in it that much, but it still needs to be cleaned) & litter box then off to see my dad. Might take him out for a while too today. Have a great Sunday crew!

Good morning all. Spent yesterday doing some work around the pool. We had to have the liner replaced so now that is done we fixed some loose edging around the pool and I refreshed the pea gravel around the pool and filter area. It took about 3/4 of a yard to do that and I forgot how heavy that gravel can get.

Today is my lovely wife's birthday and we are going to a friend's lake house for the day. He has boats and a jet ski so it should be a fun day. Take care those of you in the extreme heat we don't have that problem here supposed to be in the upper 70's to low 80's here with some scattered showers possible.

After church took my wife on a couple hour trip around Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, part of the city and finished at Red Lobster. A few nice comments were received today and always appreciated.

Sounds like a very nice day. I'm glad it was.

I had a nice day too. Took care of bunny this morning then got ready & Mike & I went to see my dad. When we got there his group was sitting around by his room singing church songs. I stood there & sang with him through several songs then they took a break & I asked him if he wanted to go & get some ice cream.....................he LOVES ice cream, so of course he said yes. We went to Baskin Robbins, had double scoops of ice cream then drove to the Marina. We drove around a little then took a walk by the river, then took him back to his assisted living facility. It was a perfect, beautiful day, temps around 80, bright blue skys, big puffy clouds...................he is so childlike now. He sees things as if for the first time. I guess it is like it is the first time because he does not remember. He said he had never seen skys & clouds so beautiful, over & over. He said he had never tasted such good ice cream (he says that now every time we take him for ice cream or a milk shake). It is sweet, and sad. It was a good day. I was glad to be able to get him out of there for a while. Here are a couple of pics:

Lots going on while I've been spending time with my mom in the hospital. Jan, I know your dad is so different from what he was, but thank goodness he's still able to recognize you and go out. I have missed being able to do things like that with my mom.

It's Monday now, so I'm going to post a video of music that my mom, myself and my daughter all love - Enya Shepherd. I've been playing her music a lot in the hospital for my mom, it's very soothing.........

Happy Birthday Mrs. Zandron!

Thanks for all of the photos everyone! Looks like everyone had a great weekend. I might be interested in the Sturgis gathering one year. Only 1200 miles one way.

Repaired my other irrigation leak today, then cleaned the Camaro and Claire's car with Waterless Wash (you guys call this some sort of bath?), and followed with detail spray. Temps rose into the 100's in the garage, so I closed it up and went in the house.

My restored carburetor is back from the resto shop. It arrived with minor damage, and the replacement parts arrived Saturday. If it is cool tomorrow, I'll install it back on the Chevelle tomorrow morning.

Hang in there Diane.

Good Morning crew. Still thinking of you & your Mom Diane & hoping she improves daily. Morning here started with a little thundershower & more scattered ones possible throughout the day. That's okay with me, I'll be indoors anyway. Coffee time now then off to start what will be a weird interrupted week with a holiday in the middle. Have a good one everyone.

Blue-J, boy does that bring back the memories I can "see" trees lining the Calhoun parkway with the runners, bicyclists and families heading to the beaches; I lived in St. Louis Park for 7 years on the west side of Hwy 100 across from Benilde HS so the Lakes were a regular hang out.

Is Lake of the Isles still lined with all those fantastic old Mansions?

Sounds like an enjoyable trip!

Jan nice pics of you and your dad.

Diane, for you and your mom:
