Hung out with Fbodfather for a while last night, what a treat!
Did you get your gopro set up? Make sure you get some photos of the old farts together.

Speaking of old farts together, who will be at Camaro5 Fest on August 2nd?? I will be in Bloomington, IN again this year visiting our oldest daughter and have received once again, authorization to not participate in a family shopping trip to the Outlet Mall (there IS a God!) and drive up to the fest. Anyone going to be there that I can hunt down and just say HI too?? I won't have the Camaro; this Summer's road trip involves driving to Duluth, MN first, Chicago next to visit our youngest daughter, then on to Bloomington, IN last, thus the Yukon gets the workout. So anyone going to be there the morning/early afternoon of August 2nd???

Mike & I will be there with Both Camaros. Good morning crew! I slept in really late for me, until 8:30. I guess I must have been really worn out & tired from this week & my body just took over. Today we will do some car care. I need to do Ruby's interior, Mike will wax Red Raider and if there is time I might wash the Crossfire. Right now, it is coffee time & a few house chores. I feel badly for you guys out there in the heat wave in the west. I hope it gets better before we go out to Vegas in 2 weeks. Stay safe in that heat. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. It is just about perfect weather here. Have fun in Sturgis gang. Jealous. HAGD all.

Greetings, fellow oldsters! Tonight, my girl and I are headed to Bethel Woods, NY better known as where Woodstock was in '69, to see Heart and Led Zep experience with Jason Bonham.

I have wanted to see Heart for years and also there's a Woodstock museum!! I was like 15 back then and not allowed to go or I would have.

Gonna be like entering a time warp.

Later.....

Phillies Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet!!!!

Be safe and have a great day everyone! Enjoy those Camaros.

I was greeted with two leaks in my irrigation system this morning, one in the front yard and one in the side yard. Managed to fix one of them before temps reached 110. I'll get up early and fix the other tomorrow.

Happy Saturday All!

I skipped C'N'C this morning (even at 7am it was too hot) and when I did venture out at 10:30 for a nail appointment, the freeway traffic was eerily light for a Saturday - even at the salon, my nail tech said customer traffic (60% is walk-in) was light. I was surprised at how few cars were stalled on the side of the road - only 1 each way. I think people are staying in and not venturing outside unless necessary. The outside temp was already 117 and not a breath of air moving at 12:20 local.

Just an update on Mom. She's still stable, baby steps, but she's tired of all this. Really makes you realize how important it is to let your loved ones know when to say stop. It's hard to find that line of what is enough. Don't mean to be a downer, but I've faced this 3 times already, varying degrees of prognosis. Waiting to see what the next couple of days bring and the doctors prognosis. Thanks for asking.

Hang in there Diane. We're thinking of you and yours.

Think the heat has something to do with the low cruiser turnout? 113 right now.

I don't think anyone could call you a 'downer'... you have a lot on your plate. If there's anything you need just say the word.

Still praying for you & yours

Not sure why, but I woke up at 2:30.... But, I have wi-fi now, and my laptop, so I'll post a few pics. These are ones I've already posted on Facebook via my phone, the ones from the real Camera have to wait til I get home, left the cable at home...

I think someone got shots of some of us OF's together, but I know it wasn't my camera... I had dinner with Jay and his lovely family last night, what a wonderful time

Gonna go back to sleep, or at least try, once these are up.
The first is at Devil's Tower - only 4 of us from the PNW Camarovan took the side trip...
The second is Maggie and I kissing Fbodfather - he's such a nice guy!!
The third is at Mt Rushmore, and the last is a shot of the show and shine in Sturgis.
