I was going to post up a song featuring hello and goodbye, but a video does not exist.

Anyway, I would have posted up Ric Ocasek, Hello Darkness.

Sometimes you just gotta wing it... I don't think anyone would get offended if you went off on a tangent, good music is good music

I heard that they found about 200 dead crows near Topeka, KS
and there was concern that they may have died from Avian "Bird"
Flu.

They had an avian pathologist examine the remains of all the crows,
and he confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu, to
everyone's relief.

However, he determined that 98% of the crows had been killed
by impact with trucks, while the remaining 2% were killed by
an impact with a car.

Kansas then hired an ornithological behaviorist to determine
why the disproportionate percentages for truck versus car kill.

The ornithological behaviorist determined the cause in short
order. When crows eat road kill, they always set-up a look-out crow
in a nearby tree or on a telephone wire to warn of impending danger.
His conclusion was that while all the lookout crows could say
"Cah," but none could say "Truck."

True story... I have driven 3,000,000 miles and have hit all kinds of birds, including an owl that dive bombed me and aaaalmost went completely thru the windshield. I have never hit a crow. I have never seen anyone hit a crow. They're just too smart I guess.

True story... When I was 17 I got my pilot's license. My dad was also a pilot. He and I went on a short flight together one day. As we coming in for a landing on our return leg a duck crossed our path. It hit the plexiglass windshield of our plane. Never saw it coming. I've never heard a bang so loud. It didn't break the windshield but when we got on the ground we had to clean duck feathers and innards out from under the aluminum at the top edge of the windshield.
