Good Friday eve crew. It was a slow morning & a busy afternoon. Then a quick trip to my sister's house to sign some papers & a nice evening sitting on the deck in perfect temp. Just a couple of notes & my evening is free. Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

My evening started fine. My Niece is getting married this Saturday and my wife and I will be paticipating in the chuch ceremony by offering the gifts during the mass so we went to the rehersal tonight then to her house for a small get together.

As my luck would have it I am on-call for work this week and have not been called until tonight when I was at her house. So I spent 20 min on my phone trying to fix an email issue for a sales guy in New Mexico. I ended up going home early to get my laptop and just spent another hour on a WebEx session with him fixing his laptop. I have to tell the other person I work with that if I get called on Saturday I am going to send the call over to him.

Three day weekend for ya? I know I currently have a week full of Friday's, but today is only Thursday for most (would hate for folks to miss whatever they needed to do tomorrow thinking it was Saturday)

Didn't even recognize it as being ZZ Top! I aam one of those oddballs that actually enjoys just about everything (though do not care for gangsta rap - mainly due to the very negative "feel" to it more than anything else ... and I can only take Bluegrass in small doses and when in the right mood which is extremely rarely).

I do like headbanging metal though ...

My iPod random shuffle occasionally causes me some problems with rather odd musical transitions: like Megadeth going into "Blue Danube Waltz" then into System of a Down then into Martina McBride, Nine Inch Nails, Vampire Weekend, DEVO, Tom Petty, The Doors, ELO, Ric Ocasek .... etc.

Things can get rather weird (literally too, when a Weird Al tune pops up in the middle!)

I'm kinda like that too I'll put the link here for that song. It's off Mescalero, which is one of their later CDs. Don't pay too much attention to the lyrics, because they are kinda.......well.............questionable........

uh oh, it's HIM.

Worked tons of overtime last week so I could go on vacation this week and not return to a huge backlog at work next week. As it looks, when I return to work Monday, 6/17, I will be working stuff from 6/7.

Been having lots of fun visiting family and friends here in Maryland, and the severe weather has made it interesting. I haven't seen rain since March. My daughter wants to get together tonight for a fathers day thing, since she has to work Saturday and Sunday. She's great.

A good friend will be "lending" me his '70 Chevelle to drive to a car show Saturday. He puts this show on for a youth group at his church, and usually about 300+ cars show up. Might take it to a local cruise here later. Good thing I brought a camera, as I love to shoot car show photos.

We fly home Sunday. I miss the sunshine and the heat. These low pressure zones make me ache.
