Great to hear the baby will be OK. Great to hear someone heard from Diane. LBM sounds like you had a great time at the track. Man if that's a real Yenko Skip that is a great find. Grew up not far from Canonsburg PA and Yenko Chevrolet. (also known for the Polish Prince Bobby Vinton and Perry Como) Our next door neighbor had a Hotrod Yenko Corvair. Have a good day

Good evening gang. I did not get to go to the extra dance class today. :( I had a VERY busy day. I had to work a little late & have a LOT of notes to do so no way I could go to class & still get to bed in time to get a reasonable amount of sleep. Just checking in for a bit, have a club e-mail to send out then ..........................................back to work. :( again.

I'm here. Just had some stuff to do. I slip-slid all the way to work this morning. I took the Crossfire. It was sunny when I left home. I knew it was supposed to rain but the last time I had seen the radar there was nothing on it. As soon as I hit Davidson county (metro Nashville) It opened up & was raining super hard & ponding on the roads. I put the Crossfire in wet mode and slowed down but I could feel it getting a little loose so I slowed down some more. A few minutes later I felt it fishtail a little & slowed down even more. Then the windshield started fogging up more than it already was. I did all the things you are supposed to do but it just kept getting worse. I fished around in my purse & found a tissue & started wiping the inside of the windshield every couple of minutes. By the time I made it to work I was kind of mad and a little scared. The defogger in the Crossfire is notorious for being ineffective. I called Mike & said I would not be driving the Crossfire any more in the rain. I am glad I did not have to worry about Ruby out in that mess today but at the same time I know she would have been sure-footed & would have kept me feeling safe. It is supposed to rain again tomorrow. I think I will try the driving the Cruze.

Gorgeous sunny days here in the great PNW!! Ladybug has been out and about. Almost got in a wreck today, though... the Silverado in front of me rear-ended the Camry in front of him at 50mph... thank God for Brembos!!!

Hi to all my friends here. I did decide not to go through Oklahoma to the Hot Rod Power tour since the weather was going to be so bad. I've been on the road since last Wednesday night, in Arlington 2 nights, but on the road the other nights. Got a nail in my tire and had to buy a new $$$ tire for the driver's rear side.......pain, since I had 4 new ones at home

Seen lots of beautiful cars and scenery and met lots of really nice people.

Glad you were able to stop in time LBM. Smart move to avoid Oklahoma Diane but sorry about the tire. Glad you are having fun. Another rainy morning here but does not look like it will be as bad as yesterday. The worst of it has already passed through. It is looking like it will be pretty weather for the weekend though. My daughter is about to get nailed by a tropical storm though. Hope she has things battened down. HAGD everyone.

Congrats on the Anniversary. We will be celebrating our 22nd on Sat. I took a PTO day yesterday do get some yard work done before the rain moved in today. I also washed the Camaro and went to a local cruise night with some guys from the club. We had a good time even though it started to get a little cool out by the end of the night.
