Good evening crew. Well my dad seemed to be having a pretty good day. Mike's parents too. It was an absolutely perfect day here. Low humidity, not too hot or too cool & no rain, beautiful blue skys with a few puffy white clouds and just a nice cool breeze. I only wish I could have taken a cruise with the windows down but family somes first. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I had so much fun today!!!!
The first session, I was pretty nervous, and there was a lot to take in - the road course is more about learning the lines and handling the corners than it is about speed. But I picked it up pretty quickly, and my instructor was great. He took me out in his Miata, and it was a good thing I used the bathroom beforehand!! HOLY COW!!! I learned so much, and even though I wasn't the fastest out there, I scored 10 out of 10 in the 8 graded categories, and now I can move up to level 2 for my next track day It felt pretty good to come out of a corner and have my instructor clap his hands and say "Yes!! You nailed it!!" The track photographer said his pics will be available sometime Tuesday, but for now, here's a couple I had someone snap with my phone.

Talked with my friend a little bit today... Her grandbaby is doing well, and is at home with her. My friend was granted custody, which will be re-evaluated in July. Her daughter is angry about that, but I suggested that she remind her that they could've put the baby in foster care - at least she's with her grandma! Cool find! It was a weird day. Busy morning then after lunch, no one showed up until my 4:00 appointment who got there early. I was bored all afternoon but I got calls from a couple of friends & got to chat with them for a while each. Then my dance exercize class. I hope everyone's work week got off to a good start. Good Tuesday morning. A crisp morning here and coffee time for me. We are having an extra dance/exercize class this week to try to get everyone up to speed learning/re-learning routines so we can do more dance/exercizing & less learning during regular class times. HAGD everyone.
