Good evening crew. Well Daddy behaved himself. We stopped on the way home & got him (and us) a milkshake which he loved. We managed to have good timing as it was not raining when we picked him up, when we got to the Dr's ofc, when we got our shakes or when we got him back "home". It rained heavily before we left our house this morning, a little on the way & VERY had between getting the shakes & the assisted living facility and again on Mike & My way home. Now the sun is shining with just some big puffy white clouds in the sky. We are supposed to get some more waves of rain before it HOPEFULLY clears up for tomorrow. I need to give Ruby a bath!

The Camaro came out great Linda. I need to give mine a good bath but the weather does not look like it will cooperate this weekend its supposed to be cold and wet. I can't complain much though as we just had a week and a half of beautiful sunny weather so we actually needed some rain. I hope everone has a good weekend.

Jan, I'm glad you had a chance to spend some enjoyable hours with your dad.

Tomorrow is my "moment of truth" day - the local enthusiasts are headed to a performance shop for DYNO DAY after Cars'n'Coffee - so I'll get to find out what performance improvements my under-hood mods of the last year (MRT v2 Axel Back Exhaust, JBA Shorties, CAI Intake, Apex Air Scoop, washer bottle move and RX Catch Can and Breather, untuned, of course) have netted.

My only regret is not having dyno'ed my car when it was stock in order to get a good baseline.. oh well....

Good Morning crew. It is a little chilly but looks like it will warm up enough for me to wash Ruby. Today is the running of the 72nd Iroquois Steeplechase in Nashville. It is good it is not raining for that but it is still rather muddy for the ladies in their finery & hats. The smart ones will wear boots instead of heels. Have a good Saturday everyone.

We finally had a nice day here. The little cold front that came through threatening rain, fell apart & just brought some dark clouds for a while then it cleared up and warmed up some too. Actually it was prefect weather for washing & waxing Ruby except for a little more windy than ideal, but I'll take it. I took advantage and gave Ruby a really good bath & a good coat of wax. She will be all ready for next weekend's Camaro Homecoming at the local dealership. I'll come home from work in the evenings and go out & do a little more detailing. I hope everyone had a nice Saturday.

Near as I can tell, she fell off the face of the earth, on or about January 15th of this year. Jan 14 was her last post. There is no "last activity" date on her profile. Considering she had nearly 20,000 posts, and even 5 months after going offline she still has a daily post average of 15, I'd have to say it strikes me as a little disconcerting. There was no indication in any of her last posts that anything was wrong. The posts just stopped, period.
Anybody know of any other way to contact her?

That IS odd huh? I wonder if anyone is Facebook friends with her? I wonder what happened.

Before someone says it (and feel free to, I just am glad my post will not seem to offend as that is not the intent) it IS NOT a happy mother's day for me. I don't have my mother and I don't have my kids.

On top of that I got my hand slapped by a moderator for making a true statement intended to defend female army members. It rather hurt my feelings on a day I was already rather depressed.



So I will say it first, Happy Mother's day to the rest of the mothers.

Sorry to hear about your mother's day problems Janice. I hope it gets better for you. Happy mothers day to all the moms out there. My mother-in-law is coming over for dinner today it's terrible weather here cold wet and windy but will be back in the 70's by mid week. I lost my mom 15 years ago so even though I miss her time has helped to ease the pain. I am sure she is watching over us.
