Today is the first day we hit 100*. Summer has arrived in the valley! And yes, it's a dry heat. Humidity is 16%. Yesterday got up into the high 90's, so we didn't head out to a cruise until later. Probably won't be driving 32 miles to the Pavilions in the Chevelle anymore until fall. I'm just not willing to drive a long distance without A/C anymore.

That's great your employer knows what is going on and sees these anonymous letters for what they really are. Do you think that entire family will send letter? Hopefully it is not a large family.

Washed Mrs. Supersport's car and my Camaro off today before it got hot outside. We're dropping the Camaro off tomorrow evening for installation of a clear bra on Tuesday morning. Mrs says I hardly drive it, especially after "the minor accident". I just didn't want the front cover to get beat up with stone chips again. The new paint already has a small stain from bug guts or something. Hope the clear bra gives me one less thing to worry about.

Well I will post tonight but maybe not in the morning. Ruby just bit the insulation off my computer wire so not sure if I will have any battery in the morning or not. It is fixable but the electrical tape is out in the garage. Ruby had to take a time out in her room! I swear, it is just like having a toddler around the house.

Good evening all! Been up in North Carolina this weekend working on the car. Installed new slotted and drilled rotors and painted the calipers. Will have to wait until we get some sunshine to get finished photos. Here's one of the photos mid install

We were sitting out on our deck Saturday night when I decided to snap a few photos of our awesome view. My camera did a crappy job of capturing the orange color of the moon, but I did the best with what I have to work with. This is looking east towards Phoenix and Glendale.

Just a quick check-in from work. It is a pretty nice day outside but I can't even see it from my little windowless office. More rain expected again mid week & rivers are still rising in some places with otehr places still flooded. It has been rather slow so far today but that could all change here in a few minutes if all my clients show un the rest of hte day. Later crew. Have a nice day.

I finally saved enough pennies and dimes to get an aftermarket exhaust. It's a Stainless Works cat back system. Lightning now has some thunder. Wow, it sounds good.

When the folks at JDP Motorsports were installing it for me they discovered a couple of problems - the motor mount on the left side only had one bolt holding it to the engine (should be 4). The other 3 were either never there or fell out sometime in the almost 4 years since I took delivery. Also, there is a small coolant leak at the oil cooler. Guess I'm gonna go visit the dealer sometime in the near future.

Jay, congrats on the new exhaust. I know you love it! Good thing the folks at JDP Motor Sports (I got my RX Catch Can from them a few weeks back ) found those other problems; I'm sure Lightning will be better than new soon!

My video contribution is a classic from the Beach Boys. They're performing here in town on the 11th and I have tickets . I'm not sure why I've never seen them (at least the latest incarnation) live before, but as a music fan, you only get so many chances....
