It depends on the Police Chief in your town, I had no problem getting mine in 2005.

Hey assault rifles are already illegal in Connecticut, so it's already proven that laws can't stop criminal behavior.

I'm sorry, but that's not true. Sig makes a CT compliant AR style rifle.
