Bet that SUV driver had to knock the ice cream cone out of his seat after that!

Embarrassed to say I haven't used mine yet, but I think you can control it remotely.

Newp - the GoPro has memory card as well and stops recording when full. I haven't looked into all the features on the newest version (GoPro 3) though and things may have changed.

Also, it maaaay be possible to use a GoPro (enabling video output) to send a camera feed to a PC (laptop) and then use a video capture program on the laptop to record.

The WiFi connection on the GoPro3 allows remote control (turning it on/off) and allows playback, but not sure whether you can view live on the controling source or not (ie, iPad/iPhone/laptop). I am pretty sure you still have to have a SIM card in it and it might still shutoff recording when the card is full.

And my Friday photo contribution is being postponed. I shot intermediate steps of the Plasti-Dip project of customizing a hood ... had the base coats laid down but had some annoying blemishes in it but planned to cope with them.

And then when I started on the next layers, I had a small oops. And that was the time of afternoon that my memory failed me. I forgot the main rule of working on finnicky fussy projects like this... if you have a minor blemish, don't %#C* with it.

I attempted to correct a minor imperfection making it a slightly larger imperfection ... and then when I tried to fix that, it became a large imperfection. I then attempted a more radical fix to that and really $#C*ed it up. Bad words were said. And now all of the Plasti-Dip layers have been removed and the surface has been prepped for perhaps a second attempt ... but not tonight.

On a side note, the pictures of the original base coat looked pretty good! But since I ended up removing it, it is kinda pointless to post the "progress that almost was"...

I need a constant run, never know when a SUV is going to be over the hill... I only had one second, and that was HIT THE BRAKES! By the time I hit record, the party would already be over.

I tried that with a web cam, but the PC couldn't keep up with a HD 30 sec. frame rate... might work fine if I was just X-ferring raw data tho, something to look into

I'm gonna look into the GoPro options... might be a way to make it work, and could dedicate a hard drive just for it.

Do you plasti-dip in a water bath? That would be a HUGE bath for a hood!

Good evening crew. It was a pretty good Friday. Not too busy, not too slow. I just have a few notes to do. It was 75 degrees when I left work. I came home & took the bunny out on the deck & enjoyed the nice weather with her for a couple of hours. Now I need to come up with something quick to eat then just a quiet evening with the computer. I am having to furmulate a plan B on my suspension upgrades. I have a couple of options so far but I need to do my research.

A company was developing their own suspension package and Ruby was going to get to be the test car. Looks like it is not going to happen any time in the near future now.
