First off, I love my 2012 SS. I also like the changes to the 2014 SS. I'd love to drive the Z28 but don't know that I would want to own one as it's more for the track than the SS. I would like to have that LS7 in my car though.

Hey gang. It's the WEEKEND for me! Woooooooooo Hooooooooooo! Just a few notes to do then I'm free. Well at least for a few days. It was a beautiful day today, sunny & around 60ish, but I didn't really get to enjoy much of it. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, scattered showers on Sat then rainy on Easter but at least it will stay relatively warm. I'll take it. It's not as if I have kids to hide eggs for or anything and I have my own live-in Easter Bunny!

Hello all its been a busy week at work as we have been short 2 people all week and call volume has picked up. However tomorrow is Friday and the weather is calling for sunny and dry on Sat so we may be able to use the Camaro. I hope everyone has a happy Easter.

The Z28 looks ok to me. Much better than the LED taillights that the have on the SS I don't care for those at all. Does not matter to me as I have no intention of getting a new Camaro anytime soon.

Friday.... finally.
I was up much too late last night, doing taxes and yapping on the phone with a girlfriend. I can't remember the last time I spent 4 hours on the phone, but we had a great time!
Have a wonderful day everyone, and a great Easter weekend. Forecast here is for sun and mid to upper 60's - I'm going to enjoy it!!

Well, woke up this morning, went out to get the newspaper and was greeted by a beautiful moon-lit sky. Come back in, turn on the news and weather and he says it'll be nice all day and no rain expected until late in the day/evening and their "weather predictor" didn't show anything either, so it's drive-your-Camaro-to-work" day for me. Phone rings about 9:30 and my wife says "I see you drove the Camaro today and by the way it's raining heavy here." So I bring up "interactive weather" on my computer and there it is, just West of the Aeronautical Center, headed my way. Looking a little closer at it, it looks like a hail core forming. Panic now beginning to set in.... Okay, now I'm glued to this dang Radar loop and it's getting bigger and moving East. Well, made my way to a door to look out and there it was, pea size hail coming down. I'm hoping that's as big as they got and no damage to the baby, we'll see at going-home time.

So, Diane, since you are a life-long Okie, are there any rules/laws you know of here about lynch-mobs being formed against local weather-casters?? I'm hoping there are exceptions.... So who's with me on this one??

Hope you don't have any damage, crossing my fingers for you. Ruby has gotten caught out in pea size hail a couple of times with no damage & could see at the time. Although I will say I noticed a place on her hood the last time I waxed her that could possibly be a delayed reaction to a hailstone or one I did not previously notice. Sorry about that. I have been tempted to drive Ruby a few times recently but chickened out as I just don't trust forcasters. I tend to look at NWS & other weather data I can access & make my own predictions. I did take a course on weather in college & have watched weather form up & compared it to maps of isobars, isotherms, jet stream, & other data ever since. I still listen to forcasters but just don't rely on them. We had pea size hail one day last week but both Camaros were tucked safely in the garage. We didn't see any damage on either of the trucks. It is raining here today. We are enjoying a day in today. We worked on some general housekeeping things this morning. Ruby Too somehow managed to cut (or more like a puncture wound) one of her back paw this morning. We have no idea how. She was sure mad. It was a little funny. She was not mad at us (we have seen that behavior too) but just mad. She has a small cardboard box she likes to go in & dig, scratch, bite, etc but will only do it for a minute or less. She went in there & dug, scratched, bit & tore at that box furiously for a long time then came out & flopped down exhausted & breathing hard. The only thing we can figure is that one of her chew sticks got wedged against something in her cage & she landed on it. We held her & checked it out but could not see anything through the thick fur pad of her foot. It stopped bleeding so I guess she'll be okay. We have free HBO this weekend so we are watching a movie now. It is nice to do nothing for a little while.
