Military downsizing means the same units will rotate back and forth faster with less dwell time. It's inevitable with the cuts that keep getting made

Indeed, currently on a "9 month", not sure how long the next one is going to be with everything

7000 seems too low. What is it set at stock ? Right above 7000 right?

Stock I thought was lower, like 6800 but I could be wrong.

Yeah i don't know, I felt like having a little fun on the way home since today's my friday! I used the paddle shifters and floored it after 20 mph and it seems like before shifting to 4th It either shifted itself at 6500 or maybe a little more but not quite at 7000. And when I was entering the passing lane from a turn around I floored it in automatic and it hit 7000. Wierd or just me? Maybe it gave the transmission to shift a little wiggle room from the slow ass Tapshift response.

Is Tapshift actually slow?? I'll have to check my redline today. I needed an excuse to go fast!

Well it's no dual clutch Ferrari! You tap it and 1000 milliseconds later you feel a shift.
